Thicker Lines
I would like to see an even larger maximum pen thickness setting. I’ll use it to fill in something, for example. It would be nice to have at least 10mm, preferably 100mm. Or, I would be happy to be able to set the maximum and minimum thickness settings in the pen settings, like Ibis Paint.

RADIAL QUICK MENU / FULL SCREEN MODE
MAKE a RADIAL, customizable QUICK MENU so we FINALLY will be able to HIDE the whole main menu, that TAKES UP SO MUCH SPACE -When in EDITING mode!

legacy access for GN5 users who already paid for "lifetime".
We, the users who already paid for "lifetime" access for GN5, shouldn't have to pay again for GN6, to the tune of 3x the cost. And what's your definition of "lifetime" anyway? Change of whim and software? The new features simply aren't that amazing to warrant any kind of cost. Legacy users should get the upgrade for free. New users should be the ones to get this godawful subscription model that you swore you wouldn't foist upon the users (like Notability, remember what you said about them??). Suggestions for the devices that don't support Apple Pencil
When I using Goodnotes on the devices like Mac and iPhone where don't support Apple Pencil, here's something I wanted:
-- Letter beautification, the letters written by finger on whatever touchpad or screen is not tidy enough, this tool will make the ugly characters more beautiful, add even with font selection if possible
-- Graphics tool that draws shapes by dragging and dropping with a single finger
-- A more responsive text selection tool, and after selecting the text displays a toolbar similar to the one in Word, not the one that comes with Apple's system.1 vote -
GeoPDF
We often use GoodNotes to add additional content to GeoPDFs (drawings). Unfortunately, when the PDFs are exported from GoodNotes, they lose the referencing. It would be a very useful feature if the already existing referencing in a GeoPDF would still be present after editing in GoodNotes and would remain in the file when exporting.

Vertical Writing and Typing
I am using this application in Japanese.
Japanese has horizontal writing (top left to right) , like English, etc., and vertical writing (top right to bottom). Currently, it is very difficult to input text in vertical writing mode, so I would like you to add a ruled note for vertical writing. Also, if possible, we would appreciate it if you could add support for input mode.
Please implement this in the Goodnote Shop, even if it is sold for a fee.5 votes -
Local cloud
Not sure if anyone has suggested this. I am using Goodnotes on both my Mac and iPad. It takes quite a while for the notes to sync between the 2 devices. And sometimes it does not even sync. It would be good if Goodnotes can use Mac as a local cloud server, and notes can be synced seamlessly.

Flashcard "sets" in flashcard "box"
There you be a way to make multiple flashcard sets in a single flashcard box so that you can more easily separate different topics. For example if you have a textbook, you should have different sets for each chapter, and in the box all your flashcards.

Color Coding
If you were to write in black, and change your mind. Instead of erasing and rewriting in a new color PLEASEE create a feature that can allow you to:
- choose pre existing text
- change color to desired new color

Like convert to math, make it possible to convert a selection of even a whole page and convert it directly to a textbox with typed text.

Edit Math Equation
When a hand written equation is converted in Goodnotes 6 and a symbol is not correctly converted it can't be changed.

Delete added "Preferred Languages"
In the setting "Handwriting Recognition" it is possible to "Add Language" to the preferred languages.
If I added a language by mistake, I would like to be able to remove/uninstall a falsely added language.

Save last selected language in "Convert to text"
When I select a handwritten word with the lasso tool and try to convert it to text, the option "Auto Detect" is set as default.
This leads to a wrong conversion of the selected text. Forcing me to change from "Auto Detect" to my preferred language every time I want to conver text.
For Example: I try to convert the german word "Abstrakte" but the auto detect converts it to "Abstrakle". If I change the language from "Auto Detect" to "German", it converts it to the correct word "Abstrakte".
Thus it would be great, if the language I selected is…

GN6: More Folder Colour options with MUTED COLOURS / Colorwheel
Pls: The New Folder Icons are WAY too big, cartoonish, and colours look GARISH!!
Please make more colour options available, to make them look at least less CHAOTIC! ( Colour wheel / Colour picker)
Changing the size of the Folders when in Gallery mode, would be VERY HELPFUL, indeed.. Or Better: Change the folder SYMBOLS in general..
( Presets or possibiltity of self-made symbols would be cool) But definetely let us decrease the size.. ( Maybe with a simple slider, +/- sign at the bottom or simply by PINCHING our fingers)10 votes -
Please stop popping up Goodnotes6 even after downgrading.
I don't like the "rub to erase" spec that erases text even when I want to fill it in, so I downgraded, but even after the downgrade I am fed up with popups urging me to update to Goodnotes 6.

Scribble option without being bound to a language
I can’t use the scribble option in swedish. If I want to write “Hej” it only writes “He” and so on. If adding a new language is not an option please let the scribble be non-restricted

Preset for the text box
It would be great to not have to change font and typing size for every text box and instead have a preset option like the pens and colors.
