Adapt the typing tool
It would be great to be able to depend on only typing sometimes and have the text align along the entire paper and lines of selected paper template as an additional feature to the existing text box

Audio recording with earbuds
It would be wonderful to record audio of what you're listening to in your earbuds. For example while you're listening to an online lecture in a crowded space.

Maths
Goodnotes 6: speed up use of Lasso tool conversion to text (probably more commonly used than maths conversion ) by allowing the user to set a global default for Lasso conversion to either a) text only or b) text and Maths.
I would expect most users to set a default of “text” and thereby speed up lasso tool conversion. Those who require both can set default to text+maths

Quicker Shapes
A thing I'm missing is a faster way for shapes, like some other apps added a feature if you draw a (not so good) circle and you touch the screen with your non-writing hand while your Apple Pencil is not yet lifted, the software automatically detects a figure and makes the circle perfect. It's a faster way than the way it's now. (Like in Procreate)

Add a timer to flashcards.

Allow user to edit latex for math equations and improve handwriting recognition
I am currently trying goodnotes 6. I was excited about the math feature, however, when writing equations they seem to be consistently converted incorrectly. I understand that there is a process to improve handwriting recognition, and it can be especially difficult when it comes to complex equations, but I was disappointed to see that I could not edit the latex to correct the mistakes. This would be a simple implementation and could allow goodnotes to collect data in order to improve the conversion.

History/Spaced Repetition Notes/Tape/Layers
- A history of all notes opened. This should have a duration limit. Say if someone spends 10 minutes reading or revising a note it should go into history. Or let each history entry be deletable.
- Calendar view of which notes were opened on what dates and what time.
- Ability to schedule entire notes or pages of notes into a spaced repetition system.
- Ability to rate how well you know the notes.
- Noteful introduced tape feature to hide parts of notes similar to cloze feature of Anki. They have Layers as well. Goodnotes should introduce these features

Show notes inside folder icon
In Goodnotes 6 there are these beautiful folder icons. But they all feel a bit empty. What if it would show the notebooks inside the folder. This could also make it more clear how many notebooks were in that folder.

Am we get a check box that is blank at first [] and on next press is [] showing in progress and then normal [X] on second press showing done

change the color of words/paragraphs without rewriting it
add the option that changes the color of notes, as sometimes I write something in a specific color but then I need to change it and rewrite the whole thing again so having an option that would change the color of the paragraph that I wrote and not waste my time would be extremely helpful.

Wishlist/Save and Search for Shop
I know it’s a new feature, but I’d love to see a wishlist or save option for the shop. Also maybe a shop on the website or off of the app also. Ultimately some way to see and be able to compare certain items before you buy them based on what you are looking for

Allow a simultaneous combination of inputs when using the flash cards feature.
It would be extremely useful to be able to do things such as paste an image and annotate it when making flash cards. There are many instances where this would be useful, and would also serve as a quality of life improvement for many students like myself, and across a wide range of subjects.

Add new text formatting options such as superscript and subscript.
I currently study chemistry at university and use GoodNotes for all of my note-taking, as well as the flash cards feature for general revision. It would be incredibly useful to be able to use rich text formatting so I can accurately enter chemical equations and chemical formulae, rather than having to come up with new forms of notation that I have to remember when revising.

Correct bad hand-writing in place
Correct my bad hand-writing as I write (much like my bad lines and circles are corrected in-place into straight lines and Giotto's perfect circles).
This feature could be switchable, so I can toggle it ON when I lecture and toggle it OFF when I write my personal annotations.

Hand-written interactive comment annotations
The interactive comment annotation feature has recently been made available in GoodNotes. However, it is currently only possible to type comments with the keyboard. It would be nice to be given the possibility to add hand-written interactive comment annotations.

Toggle menu
I’ve been using the app extensively for note-taking and organization, and I believe that the addition of a toggle menu feature would be incredibly beneficial. This feature could streamline navigation and provide a more efficient way to access different sections within the app. By allowing users to toggle between various menus seamlessly, it would make the overall experience more intuitive and user-friendly.

Geometrisches Werkzeug für Textmarker
Ich habe oft das Problem, wenn man eine text liest und markiert, muss man bei den Textmarker immer warten bis eine gerade line entsteht.
Für den normalen Stift gibt es die Funktion mit dem Geometrischen Werkzeug, mit dem man immer eine gerade line ziehen kann. DAs für den Textmarker wäre super.1 vote -
Ordnerstruktur und Tabs
Ich vermisse einen Button, mit dem man von der Ordnerstruktur, das Fenster mit den bereits geöffneten Tabs wieder öffnen kann, ohne dafür ein anderes Dokument aus den Ordnern öffnen zu müssen.
So wie es bei den geöffneten Tabs oben links in der Ecke einen Pfeil zurück gibt, nur eben in die andere Richtung.2 votes -
Better Math Support
It would be great if lines snapped into place at the intersections of the checkered template (as with Notability). In addition, I would not add a ruler but a information directly next to a line that shows the length of it (as with Freeform). Finally, I would add an icon to the toolbar with which you can quickly draw a coordinate system.
