  2. I paid for GoodNotes 5 as well as the interim GoodNotes 5 upgrade. My app was upgraded to GoodNotes 6 during iOS App Store updates. Now I’m being forced to purchase a GoodNotes 6 subscription with a nag screen even though I’m running version 5. I suggest that you leave us happy version 5 people alone, stop holding our data ransom and avoid a class action lawsuit suit.

  3. Instead of every change in palette or pen type or size to be applied to every notebook, can we have the features same as the last time we used that specific notebook instead of every change being applicable to every notebook? If one had to make an art notebook and a notes notebook then the choice of colours and pen would vary and it's not practical to set everything up again before resuming

  4. I currently create notes when working (in a notebook) and then go on to create flashcards for a topic - rather than creating flashcards directly from study material.

I use different software for flashcards but would reconsider if there was an easier (or more obvious way) to create flashcards from a notebook i.e. circle to select some text and add it to a flashcard the same way I can screenshot it

  5. Just like, when you press link to tie a Word to another page you should have that same ability to tie a word to the audio files that you can record. Then you could link the title of the paragraph press on it, and it would read the paragraph.

  6. you should, In the content tab let us stack by chapter so you could edit chapters easer and your not maneuvering 60+ pages. It could be as easy as setting a page to “chapter header” and tap it and it folds in/out.

  7. Please add a button on the toolbar to hide the navigation and tabs bar while editing. These bars occupy a significant amount of screen space and aren't necessary during the document editing process. Their large size can be distracting and reduces the available workspace. I really enjoy using Goodnotes, but this issue might force me to consider switching to another app if it remains unresolved.

  8. I am a heavy goodnotes user, I have noticed that when my notes become complex the app starts to lag/bug/stutter to the point where my handwriting changes (as if the app is drawing straight lines between points that are noticeably further away from each other). By complex files, I don't mean long documents but rather supercharged single-page documents (for cheat sheets for example)

edit: I am using an M series iPad Pro

  9. I am required to download maps and images into Goodnotes for work and highlight and markup on these files.
I find it extremely difficult to spot colours on an already colourful document. Is there a a tool or setting that could allow the user to change files from colour to greyscale?
There are a few long ways to do this with desktops but I only carry an iPad with me. So unless I have a premium Adobe subscription I am stuck.
I understand my issue may be unique but I’m sure the ‘convert to greyscale’ tool could come in handy…

  11. Be able to scale a picture from corner, rather than centre. So, top left corner stays put, and dragging the bottom right corner of a picture scales the picture proportionately (and the top left corner stays fixed)

  12. Be able to scale a picture by dragging from the corner rather than center-scaling. So, Top Left corner stays fixed, dragging the bottom right corner enlarges the picture proportionately. Perhaps by pressing the Option button while dragging the corner?

  13. I am currently summarizing 400 pages of slides for my studies on Learn sets and learning with the smart learn. Unfortunately, I'm missing a mega important feature: I can't search my learning sets to see whether I've already recorded topics or questions or whether I still need to record them. A search function for the learning sets would be very essential here.
Hopefully, this shouldn't be too much effort, so that I can search within my flashcards.

  14. Please add a button on the tool bar to hide the nav bar and tabs bar. The nav bar and tabs bar takes a lot of space and they're not needed when I'm editing a document. It's annoying how the 2 big bars take up precious screen space. I love Goodnotes, but I unfortunately would have to switch to another app if this issue is unsolved.

  15. I'm using Windows 11on the Surface Pro 8 with keybaord and pen. I want to make daily planner pages. I find that the keyboard integration is pretty much nil. I can't use my arrow keys to move text boxes up or down, I have to use the pen. Going back and forth when you're creating something is a pain. When my keyboard is attached I would like the ability to tap anywhere and type, it's a pain in the arse to have to create a textbox first; in fact having to create a text box at all seems archaic to…

  16. It would be helpful to have a graph overlay where you can add a transparent graph to help you write in a straight line. It can also be used to adjust your notes the way that you want to help with keeping items straight or aligned.

  17. Hi, I have GOODNOTES on my Microsoft surface studio computer and I use it regularly.
The problem: I need to export some pages in the notebook to a PDF file and I don't have such an option. That's why I have to export all the pages and after that delete the pages I don't need with external software.
(I know such an option has changed on tablets and phones - but it would be very helpful to have such an option on the computer as well).

  18. There are quiet a lot of feature request regarding being able to export all Highligthed parts of an PDF. However for a start i think it would be beneficial if, you could filter the (miniature) pages in the content view to show Pages that has been Highligthed or written a note on.
Kind off like the Bookedmarked tab shows only bookedmarked pages. For start it probably would be enough to show the entire page a Highligthed has been made. In a Perfect world (probably quiet challenging to archive) this could maybe work like the preview when searching for something in…

  19. As a student, I often have my uni books in epub format and it would be great to have the possibility to modify/annotate them as we alreadu can with pdf. I know you can convert EPUb to PDF easily, but it doesnt always come out right, so EPUB support would be easier and more comfortable

  20. Basic functions for typed text (same as in OneNote) such as creating tables, lists, bulleted lists. These can also be created using keyboard shortcuts.
