Toggle Pen Tool with Apple Pencil 2 Mini Menu
Apple’s new squeeze triggered mini menu enabling us to access GoodNotes menu options is wonderful. However what would make it especially useful, even essential, is the ability to toggle the pen tool on and off, to switch back and forth from navigation (ie planner links) to writing.

Create templates from current page
Add this to suggestion box: make It easier to add a current page I am working on to the templates. Right now I have to export and then import back in and that is annoying and useless. Thanks.

Support for buttons customization in Logi Options+
The MX mice series from Logitech is a pretty popular device. It includes a software called Logi Option+ that allows per app specific customization of the mouse buttons. For me, it was a life saver when scrolling documents was not working for Mac. I was able to set one side button to scroll up and the other to scroll down (each button was mimicking pressing the up or down arrow key, respectively).

Dismissible memo on the side of page (like a sidebar)
Sometimes I want to jot notes , but there isn’t enough empty space. Memo is nice but I dont want the memo to cover up the words in my document. Someone suggest expandable memo but then it may be easily missed when rereading the document.
I suggest a feature where we can add memo at the side of the pdf (outside of margin), function is similar to expandable page but more aesthetic. and it can be chosen to show or dismiss with something like a sidebar option. Customizable pen smoothening
The reason I'd like this feature is because I have Parkinson's Disease. And as a student in University; I struggle a lot in keeping a nice and tidy handwriting when taking notes. If yall could help me out by voting for this, it would be hugely appreciated!

Element/ Sticker Search Bar
A search bar when you select the “Element” tool so you can search for specific types of sticker. Ex: “Check mark” or “Red Book”. I have a few huge sticker packs and it takes forever trying to find a specific sticker.

Remove background for images
The tool similar to the one they have on word ( either the remove background, or set to transparent tool) for images… because I love to make aesthetic notes and it is so time consuming having to manually remove the background on images of third party tools and then import them into my notes

[Tape] Enable Tape in Study Sets
Enable the ‚Tape‘ tool for study sets as well. It is super helpful but can currently not be used in practice mode, the option to make the tape transparent does not work there.

Add ability to create line breaks between text
This feature would allow you to create a space between handwriting and images that have been placed on a page, allowing you to add more information.
For example, let's say you have a numbered list:
1. Add eggs
2. Bake
And perhaps you want to add something in between number one and two on the list, instead of having to erase number 2 or lasso it and move it down, imagine if one could simply tap between the two and push it down, similar to a feature that exists in onenote. Make images move across pages like the lasso tool allows
This would put images in line with the new behavior of the lasso tool, so that images can move across pages by dragging just like highlighted handwriting can.

the text box horizontal angle is slightly going up to the right side.
When the text box is enlarged after pasting using noose function , the text box horizontal angle is slightly going up to the right side. This fuction is useful to quickly adjust the text size. Please make it straight after pasting & enlargang the copied part.

Line tool
While using an eraser on an existing line, the whole line gets erased. Sometimes you just want to shorten it a bit and not redraw the whole thing. Especially in machine drawings etc. Converting a drawn line into just another pen mark after it’s drawn will help a lot. Please consider it.

make custom color palettes and synchronize them for the normal pen and highlighter
It would be great to make your own custom color palettes to switch between different ones and being able to synchronize these with the color palette of for example the highlighter pen, so you can make nice notes within a color scheme

Smart Study Feature algorithm too repetitive
I think the smart study feature lets you repeat the cards way too often. This is really frustrating if you have a study set with a lot of cards (100+). I think it would be better if the intervals were longer.

Search function with the word not individual letter
Reseach result need to improved
I have searched my working file with '5주' and got the result of 164 from Goodnote and only 6 from flexil.
Goodnote shows individual word result like 5 & 주, However flexil shows the combined result of 5주 only.I hope goodnote improve the search function.

Disappearing sticker when clicked
Let’s imagine you have an image of the anatomy of the ankle which has everyone bone named. It would be great if we could add a sticker on top of the name to hide it and when clicking on it in read mode it disappears to reveal the name of the bone. That would be super useful for med student and others as well.

Goodnotes 6 - "Zoom Window Return Height" in custom templates
Please (re-) add the functionality of being able to specify the "Zoom Window Return Height" to custom templates into Goodnotes 6.
It was there in GN5 (https://support.goodnotes.com/hc/en-us/articles/201565249-Adjusting-Zoom-window-return-height-for-a-template) but missing from GN6

Select tools when squeezing with Apple Pencil Pro and edit PDF full screen only
I use GoodNotes 6 every day and find it very useful and productive. However, I have some suggestions for improvement, especially regarding the use of PDF files.
PDF Integration
- Wider Use of PDFs: It has always been a challenge to use PDF files more extensively within GoodNotes. Enhancing this feature would be highly beneficial.
Recent Observations
- Circular Writing Window: Recently, while using the 13-inch iPad Pro and Apple Pencil Pro, I noticed a circular writing window created in front of the pen nib using the pen pressure function. Thank you for including this feature.
