Improving Coloring Efficiency and Other Tools
GoodNotes can be limited when it comes to coloring. I wish we had a paint bucket tool to fill in areas faster, as well as a blending tool to avoid harsh lines when coloring. I often have to color for lab reports, and it's inconvenient to do that on GoodNotes. I also wish we could select things with the lasso without it dragging whatever is behind it. Turn off iPad screen when on Goodnotes
When I leave my iPad on Goodnotes it never closes by itself despite my iPad being on the 2 minute shut off time. On every other app it shuts down by itself but Goodnotes. Can we implement something that hinders this? It wastes a lot of battery

저는 애플계정중 네이버로 굿노트를 구매했고 현재는 이메일을 구글 계정으로 변경하였습니다. 그 후 굿노트에서 로그인 오류가 반복됩니다. 네이버로 애플계정을 로그인 할 수 없습니다.

Showing Zoom% in Notebooks
I really love the new Whiteborads, especially because I can see the % of Zoom, and I can also change it accuratly.
I would love the some functionality in Notebooks, so every time I write with the same resolution.
For example: I find most convenient to write in my notebook at 86%, so my letters are all the same size.I know that there is a zoom window, but I don't like to use that, because I takes half of the screen of my iPad and the scale is just too big for me.

Bring back the old pen
I really miss the consistent style of the pen before the most recent update, the new pen is thicker and thinner in different places and its honestly unusable for me. I also miss the feature that you guys had a little while ago with the magnified writing box, it really helped with writing long sentences and streamlining note taking :)

I want to invert white and black.
When filming live, white backgrounds are too bright and interfere with the live stream, so I want to invert white to black.

Revert Back Some Item
Need to change back to the way it was before the latest update. Drawing straight lines became really ******. The text box sucks big time. Text box before and how you saved the text box settings was way better before. I do like the drawing arrow features. The way it jumps automatically from text box to lasso sucks big time. I use goodnotes a lot at work (electrician) and ive been pushing more and more people to start using goodnotes in the past. New Shape Tool: Ability to disable auto-connection of shapes
Please create the option to turn off auto connection of connector lines to pre-defined shapes drawn with the shape tool. I understand this was designed for diagramming but I am picky about my notes being neat, organized, and symmetrical so I really like using this tool to draw my own figures as well as perfect arrows/shapes. However, the auto connect makes it very frustrating and annoying to use because my lines are redirected to connect to nearby shapes and there is no way of detaching them to still draw the lines where I need them to go. OneDrive Syncronization (Automatic Backup)
Please add an option to Automatically backup files of folders in OneDrive in Goodnotes 6 as it was before in Goodnotes 5.

I am a dedicated user of your app, and I love how it has transformed my note-taking. I have a feature suggestion that I believe would be immensely valuable for students and professionals in mathematics, science, and engineering: the addition of a built-in Cartesian Coordinate System tool.

actually I use baidu cloud instead of iCloud, so it is very important for me that if it has other choices to synchronize my notes, especially if there is a choice that I can synchronize to Baidu cloud.

Camera for Sharing screen
I would like to be more specific in what I share over a screen. It would be great to have a Window in my file, especially now with the whiteboards, to Zoom in on an area and drag and drop in Items from outside the view of the shared screen. It's like in the App "Whiteboard Explain Everything".

Text and drawings
I believe it would be amazing if we could have a document such as a text document and be able to draw on top of it. Now with all the new updates you cannot do that except with text boxes. For example, when you are following a class and need to put explanations and grafs or anatomical drawings etc. you must switch from one doc to another or even from one app to another. I believe text boxes aren’t that practical.
I saw notability has this option but I prefer Goodnotes so I’ll stick with you <31 vote -
Text Box Line Change
Please disable this automatic line changing or increase the limit of words for line change. It doubles the work as again we have to stretch the box to make while text appear in single line.

i can see people use the tools in different sequences - I need the eraser to auto-deselect off pen menu when i

[Oct 2025 Update] - Geometric figures
Add the possibility of remove the object area that anchorages writing, forms to a form.
This new feature doesn't allow drawing over some figures and makes the drawing experience terrible on goodnotes.
Let the user choose in he needs the area or not.It would also be nice to be able to draw geometric shapes that are more similar to those drawn by hand.
For example, quarters and semicircles, which are currently transformed into parabolas.1 vote
