Select texts in a PDF on macOS
The note-taking experience with Goodnotes on the iPad is exceptional, particularly the ease of selecting text in a PDF using just a finger.
However, this process is less intuitive on macOS, where it becomes necessary to disable the note panel to select text within a PDF document. Enhancing the macOS version with a dedicated mouse tool for text selection would significantly streamline the user experience.
Reading PDF document is a vital feature for many users. Please!

Study set--scanning documents and changing image proportions
In the current version, when importing images into Study Sets, the photos taken are directly reflected on the cards, and the image ratio is fixed at 1:1.
In order to create cards that are effective for study, we need to be able to beautifully turn a photo taken into a card and also be able to import images in the ratio of our choice (sometimes even the answers to questions are imported onto the surface!) .

After we erased the center of line, it looks like a different line. But it move sync when we select and move a line. It's very troublesome when I want to edit a simple picture, because I have to delate all of the connected line only when I want edit part of the line.1 vote -
Curves with more than three nodes
Currently in Goodnotes 6 the only way that a generic curve can be approximated appears to be by a parabola, as a Maths major it would be helpful to be able to draw higher order curves (curves with more nodes) as the only way to do that currently appears to be by joining these basic curves which makes the overall curve appear to have kinks in it, adding an option to allow the user to control the number of nodes would be very helpful and appreciated.

Sync all button
I have had multiple documents that needs to be synced but they generally take their own time before syncing. If there can be a button to force sync all files to cloud that would save me so much headache and time.

Web sync for IOS library
I have an older mac which runs on Catalina thus I cannot install the goodnote app on my imac. I would love to atleast have the iOS library sync to the web version so I can use it on universal device without needing to create a link for ease of use.

It would be so useful to add the dashed line tool for writing and geometric mode!
For mathematic, physics and scientific note it is essential having a tool like this!

Windows App Icloud Sync
I got GoodNotes for my Ipad and love it. I assume the account is associated with my Apple ID on the device. I have now downloaded your Windows app, but it gives me Microsoft or Google sign-in options... so I can't log into the Goodnotes account that my iPad is using. Could add an Apple ID sign-in option for the Windows app?

Organização dos adesivos // Stikers organization
Acho que a organização dos adesivos deveria ser mais fácil, e em uma janela melhor de visualizar o que estamos fazendo. Pois quem tem muitos adesivos demora horas pra organizar e da muito erro no processo.

I think organizing the stickers should be easier, and in a better window to visualize what we are doing. Because those who have a lot of stickers take hours to organize and cause a lot of mistakes in the process.

Math font color change
The math font feature is great, but changing the color of the font would be very helpful so the typing could be seen on different colored pages.
Right now the quickest option is to copy and paste the math into a text box and change it from there.7 votes -
Global color palette
It would be a critical feature for to have a global color palette that can be used in both handwriting and text. Otherwise, we will have to do double entry for every custom color that we want to use in different tools.

Draw/type/images on flashcards
You should be able to insert images into flashcards AND draw on them. Or insert an image AND add text. Or all three! I don't understand why you have to choose only one at a time.

Vertical Multi-window
A vertical integrated multi-window would be nice for people that write in a vertical position as if it was a piece of paper. Notability's way of doing it is perfect. See attached picture.

[Outline] Shortcuts for creation
Different suggestion from the much needed sub-outlines (see the 600+ voted on suggestion by Daniel Wyatt “Sub-Outlines in Outline”) which would bring in a collapsible feature in Outline.
This is about being able to assign, to different elements of the outline, headings which would be integrated into the Outline system. Right now the document may have different internal headings, but if I add these to the GoodNotes Outline, they are difficult to keep in their actual order.

Animated GIF Support
It would be amazing to have this feature as it's the only thing keeping me from using GoodNotes and not Notability. I'd switch to GoodNotes in a heartbeat if GIFs were supported. Please make it a thing! 🙏

Study sets managements of cards
Hi, I love the new feature and I'm tankful for the GoodNotes team for working so hard to bring so many useful features to the app to help us study. I would have one request and that is to be able to move cards from one study sets to another. That would be tremendously useful.
