1. Text Doc export

   Add an option to easily export a text doc AS A TEXT DOC and not as a PDF.
   Also fix the size and format of all textDoc settings so it wouldnt look so bad as a PDF

2. Improve highlighter

   Make possible to draw a straight line but with different slants: when I take a picture of a text, sometimes the text is not perfectly straight, it’s abi tilted and it’s impossible to highlight it with the straight feature cause the highlight won’t correspond to the tilted text.

3. Improve text document beta

   I’m currently using Goodnotes for handwritten notes and pages for typing ones. I’d love to do that all in Goodnotes. I think an improvement of the text document is well needed. For example, give the choice to visualise as one full page or divided in a4 pages, give more options tu personalise texts fonts, font size. All the features used in other apps.

4. Improve Text and Keyboard Features

   I find writing with a keyboard more difficult since the last update. You have removed the keyboard function in the toolbar, and now I have to tap and hold to start writing in a regular notebook. This is useless.

   Text documents are not a terrible thing, but you should add the possibility to highlight or write with a pen on them. Personally, I chose GoodNotes because it allowed me to both write with a keyboard and with a pen on the same file.
   With text documents you can finally write without pages and the issues that come from it (having to manually add a page every time I reached the end of mine was awful), but make it possible to do both things on the same document!

5. Suggestion

   Dear GoodNotes Developers,
   I hope this doesn’t come across as too forward, but I have a suggestion I’d like to share.
   I would greatly appreciate it if you could create a dedicated bug report channel here.
   For example, when a Sticky Note is positioned at the center or bottom of the screen, the screen automatically moves whenever the keyboard is opened. I’ve reported this issue multiple times through the in-app bug reporting, but even after several updates over the past few days, the issue still hasn’t been addressed.
   There are also other ongoing issues, such as scrolling glitches, pen input lag, and the battery stopping at 80%, which I previously reported via email, but they still remain unresolved. While such issues might be understandable during a beta phase, these bugs persist even after the official release. It seems that this ongoing neglect may be contributing to the recent decline in GoodNotes app reviews.
   I genuinely believe that the GoodNotes developers are attentive and receptive to user feedback. However, some users here on Slack may feel that their concerns are not being taken seriously, despite reporting these issues.
   Therefore, I sincerely request the creation of a bug report channel to enhance communication between users and developers, and to ensure that feedback is more effectively addressed.
   I’m truly sorry to have to say this, and I deeply appreciate your time and understanding.

6. Lasso tool

   please take away the automatic tool bar that pops up after encircling. every time I want to rearrange my notes, it pops up and BLOCKS the FOV that I'm moving it to.

7. Make the elements collection tool bar bigger

   After element button is selected, the collection bar at bottom should be able to be made bigger when opened, the images are so small it's hard to see them even on a 12" iPad

8. Auto-refine/handwriting error

   I’d like to suggest that GoodNotes add an auto-refine or handwriting smoothing feature that subtly corrects small imperfections in handwriting without changing the user’s natural writing style.

   Currently, when writing with the Apple Pencil using the ballpoint pen, I’ve noticed that the strokes sometimes add unwanted flicks or extra lines at the end of letters, which makes the handwriting look less clean and natural, this is extremely irratating as on other app my handwriting doesnt appear to be like that. Even with the stability setting at zero, it still happens, and it disrupts the flow of writing, especially for users who write quickly or use cursive.

   An auto-refine option (or an improved stabilization engine) could help automatically clean up these flicks and overlines while keeping the handwriting authentic and responsive.

   It would be great if this feature could be adjustable, so users could choose how much correction or refinement is applied depending on their writing style.

12. 線種が共通化

    直線で囲われた図形を書く際に、勝手に線種がそろってしまう。
    空間図形などは、奥にある線は点線、手前は実線で書きたいという場面がありますが、今回のアップデートで、直線でもつながると線種がそろってしまい非常に厄介。

13. Can’t Draw a Perfect Circle

    When I use the “Draw and Hold” feature, I can’t make a perfect circle — it always becomes an ellipse instead. Even when I try using the Shape tool, it still doesn’t draw a perfect circle. I hope this can be improved!

16. Find and replace text

    For long text documents, it would be helpful to have a find and replace option. I have a document, for example, that has 124 instances of the same name that needs to be changed. Right now, I can only do it manually in Goodnotes 6.

17. Shape tool

    I really love the addition of the elbow/curved line correctors, perfect shape tools, and stroke settings, however the issues coinciding with these are making them hard to enjoy.
    1. Arrows and other connecting lines auto attach to other shapes in the document with seemly no way of detaching them. I understand they are called connecting lines for a reason and are meant for connecting diagrams and flow charts, but I almost never use them to connect objects or shapes. This makes using them to draw arrows and other pictures very frustrating and annoying. The new shape tool does not have the ability to turn off "snap to other shapes" or any other general settings to edit shapes like hold to draw. It would be nice to be able to use hold to draw with the auto shape tool as well to draw "imperfect" or irregular objects instead of having to switch back to the pen tool while using the shape tool. The pen tool has these settings and I tried turning off snap to shape but it didn't fix the issue. Hopefully this will be part of the toolbar customization but if not, please add this back so connector lines do not auto attach to other shapes.
    2. Shape selection is difficult and inconsistent. Tapping with the finger is kinda annoying. It's much easier and more convenient in the flow of writing to use the pen to tap to select (which does still work for the most part.) Many times after drawing a shape & especially connector lines, the shape will not select by tapping with finger or pen. I have to zoom around the page or click other tools then try again before selection works. This seems to be maybe just a glich or a bug but it would still be easier if we could choose to select with the pen only.
    3. Previously there was a way to round the edges of a shapes by holding down after drawing but that does not seem to work anymore. Please bring back this function or add this to the shape editing options.
    4. It would be nice if there was a setting to use the same color presets with all of the different writing and drawing tools. It's annoying to use a color (especially ones not in the default custom colors) in the pen setting then switch to highlighter or shape tool and need the same color but it is not in those presets. I also don't want to add all 50 or so different colors to 3-4 different presets.
    5. Other miscellaneous ideas: ability to flip an image/object/shape vertically or horizontally in addition to rotation, use other tools like lasso and shapes while using the zoom window, group and align options for different selections (text boxes with pictures, objects, images, other shapes).
