iPhone Duo Foldable Support
Is their iPhone Duo foldable Goodnotes support? Their opportunities to make the use of experience better, with the second window, like picking a new pages to copy or move in the separate window, or a Zoom feature to pop up on the other side.
Additionally, will it be compatible as the Apple Pencil that must be used is not princess sensitive… Will Goodnotes be able to operate without the princess sensitivity?

share FOLDERS with each other not just specific files or documents. I am a long time user of Goodnotes (about 6/7 years now). I have seen the amazing changes to this platform. However, recently, I received a school iPad and am forced to make a new account. Sharing files from my old account to my new account has been a real hassle. is there a way to share folders across different devices? This would be HUGE game changer.

Outlined Pen / Drop-Shadow Ink for Photo Annotations
Hi Goodnotes Team,
I frequently use Goodnotes to annotate directly on top of imported photos and images. Because the current pens only output solid, single-color ink, my handwriting constantly gets lost in the dark or busy areas of the pictures.
It would be incredibly helpful to have a new pen tool—or a toggle for the existing pens—that automatically generates a contrasting outline (like white) or a subtle drop-shadow in real-time as I write.
Right now, I have to interrupt my workflow to draw highlighter backgrounds, duplicate text to create manual shadows, or drop in pre-saved shape elements just to make…

Advanced Editing for Images and Elements
I really like the feature that allows you to align Images and Elements with fixpoints that already are on a document.
The next evolution of this feature I'd really like to see would be the possibility to select wether you want and Image or a section of selected handwriting to respond to said fixpoints.
Sometimes when editing handwritten Text in a Document where you inserted a picture it is quite hard if not impossible to align it when it respons to a fixpoint.

List of approved email addresses for email import
I would be much more comfortable if only email addresses that I approved beforehand could send pdfs via email directly to my devices.
Similar to the implementation SAP Concur uses...
- you could add your own personal or work email address to your Goodnotes account.
- Only emails with pdf attachments originating from these approved addresses are then imported to the Goodnotes account.

Long-press Apple Pencil to temporarily switch to eraser
I'd like to suggest a new feature for GoodNotes: when using Apple Pencil, long-pressing on the screen for a configurable duration (around 0.1–0.5s) would temporarily switch the tool to an eraser. The eraser would remain active until the pencil is lifted off the screen, after which it would automatically revert to the previous tool.
This would make erasing mistakes much faster and more convenient than double-tapping the pencil to toggle between pen and eraser, since it eliminates the back-and-forth switching and keeps the workflow smooth and uninterrupted.
Ideally, the long-press duration could be adjustable in settings to suit different users'…

Hello, I’ve been using GN for many years now. I keep my hardware as long as possible, and I’m increasingly finding that basic functions across my iPad and two MacBooks are no longer working. For instance, I can no longer exchange files in the Goodnotes format between my MacBook and iPad because the iPad version can no longer be updated. My iPad is running iOS 17, but the new GN version requires at least iOS 18. iCloud synchronization stopped working a long time ago. Links to connect a word to a separate part of a whiteboard or page.
I think an option to link words in a definition to another part of the whiteboard it's in would be nice to see. Perhaps even connecting other pages and workbooks together, just to make studying easier when you forget a certain word's definition. I attached an image as example with an underlined word that would contain a link, in case my explanation wasnt clear

It will be great if Goodnotes can have a screen record, or import video option. I learn by teaching myself, cand its important for me to sometimes screenrecord what im saying and how things works especially for future references.

Smart Guideline
I would like to request the addition of a “Smart Guideline” feature similar to the one available in Samsung Notes. The feature could dynamically provide a subtle horizontal guideline while writing, helping users maintain a straight baseline even when working on completely blank pages.
I frequently prefer unruled pages because they provide a cleaner and more flexible writing experience. However, maintaining a consistent straight line of handwriting on a blank page is difficult, particularly when writing longer notes. A Smart Guideline that assists with maintaining the writing baseline—without permanently adding ruled lines to the page—would solve this problem very effectively.

Colour bucket fill
Add a bucket tool to fill colour into hand draw complex images, so for people who have to hand draw their own images easier. Don’t have to colour the whole thing bit by bit and way and for more accuracy.

[Whiteboard options] Add Scene feature similar to Freeform
I really like the whiteboard feature as it enables others and me to collaborate cross-platform on the same infinite canvas like on Freeform, where only Apple users can collaborate.
But I miss the background options you get with ordinary.
I also miss scenes from Freeform, which can serve as keynote slides, table of contents and a general outline of the whole mind-map.
For me as a math and it student, this would be much appreciated.

[Lock object] Prevent image from being selected
It’s frustrating because whenever I try to write notes over an attached image, the image keeps getting selected instead. Even with the "lock" feature enabled, it only prevents the image from moving; I can't find any way to stop it from being selected. I seem to recall there used to be a specific setting for image objects in the document options—did that get removed? I can't seem to find it anymore. Please bring it back!

Infinite Scroll note / page / notebook
Hello! i know the whiteboard already exists, but i feel they are quite limited in file size, as well as can get overwhelming for certain purposes. i think it would be great to ADDITIONALLY have an infinite scrolling note, but not infinite sideways, only downwards. Scribble But Without Textbox
I want much more freedom when I write than a textbox! So I'm requesting a feature where you can manually turn it on or off and when you write with your Apple Pencil on your iPad in GoodNotes with any pen (like brush pen, ball pen, fountain pen), as you write in real-time, your text gets replaced with a font.
