  2. I often record my university lectures and listen to them later, but I find the current playback speed options a bit limiting. For example, 1x feels too slow, while 1.5x is slightly too fast.
it would be much more convenient if users could adjust the playback speed in smaller increments, such as 0.1 steps, or have additional options like 1.2x and 1.3x.
This would greatly improve the listening experience when reviewing recorded lectures.
    Thank you.

  3. Please add the option to freely customise the tools inside of the Apple Pencil Pro menu. I also would love to see more colour options in this menu instead of the normal three.

  4. add a feature of a "float-note"
the note will catch small part of screen, and will stay no matter what document is in its background,
and of course can be minimized when unnecessary.
    can be used for:
    1. common data that needs to be available while switching documents.
    2. reminders or data that are not related to any document and need to stay in eye site.
    3. a middle stop station from delivering data between document (for example if I want to collect information from one document and then transferre it to another- without going back and forth between them)

  5. My Apple Pencil tip works best with a thickness of 0.38, so I usually try to match that. However, the available options are limited to values like 0.3, 0.35, and 0.4, which feels a bit restrictive.

It would be much better if we could set more precise values, such as 0.38 or 0.28, by allowing finer adjustments within ranges like 0.2โ€“0.3 or 0.3โ€“0.4.

  7. Please introduce the ability to draw more variation of shapes, others than Lines, polygons, circles, ellipses and parabolas. Me as an engineering student would love to draw different curvy lines. I would recommend to add like 3,4,5โ€ฆ order polynomials and what really should be introduced is an easy and efficient way to draw sin and cosin.

  8. Hello GoodNotes team,

First of all, please excuse any language errors in this message.

We wanted to share some feedback about the Math Conversion feature in GoodNotes, which we find overall very impressive. The ability to convert handwritten text, graphs, and mathematical equations is extremely useful. It is even possible to directly copy the LaTeX output to paste it elsewhere, which is a great feature.

However, we have noticed one limitation: when converting mathematical equations, it is only possible to copy the LaTeX output line by line. This can be quite tedious when working with multi-line calculations.

    It would beโ€ฆ

  9. It seems like we can create stickers and stickers are kinda like stamps. I am hoping to create stickers for various typical items/issues I find while on an inspection so that I can just place the sticker as the annotation for what I saw at that location.

What would be really awesome is if there could be a legend based on the stickers you choose and it would be really incredible if it would automatically count them.

For example, Iโ€™m inspecting a house and I have a sticker that is for water stains. I go around the house and placeโ€ฆ

  10. Being able to lock the orientation of the notebook or page youโ€™re working on without having to lock it for the entire iPad.

When I am marking up a floor plan, I have to lock the iPad so that I can orient the floor plan to match what Iโ€™m seeing. It would be better if I can lock this in Goodnotes instead of the iPad.

Bonus would be if you can lock the page/notebook to the actual north direction. The phones already have a compass to where it knows where north is. If that could be linked to the pageโ€ฆ

  12. Hi GoodNotes Team,
I'm a student who uses GoodNotes daily for my lectures and note-taking. I had a creative idea that I think would make the writing experience much more fun and unique.
Currently, the pen tool only writes in one solid color. What if there was an option for a "Multi-color" or "Bordered" pen? For example, a pen stroke that has one color in the center and a completely different color on the outer edges.
Iโ€™ve attached a sketch I made to demonstrate the idea (a light blue stroke with red edges, and another with purple edges). I thinkโ€ฆ

  13. Subject: Issue with macOS Update and iCloud Synchronization

I am experiencing an issue where my Mac is unable to update, citing incompatibility with the latest version. As a result, iCloud synchronization is not functioning.

The system indicates that macOS 14.5 or higher is required. However, even though I am currently using macOS Tahoe 26.4, the update will not proceed.

I would greatly appreciate a prompt resolution to this matter. Thank you.

  15. Because many teachers speak quickly, the best way to take notes in class is to upload the PDF slides and annotate them directly. Most of the time, these slides are in landscape orientation (wider than they are tall). However, when you want to write your own summaries or do homework, it's much more convenient to use portrait orientation (taller than they are wide).
Currently, every time I add a new page after the slides, I have to manually rotate it, which is very annoying. It would be so much quicker if I only had to rotate the first added page,โ€ฆ

  17. I recently started using Goodnotes in my classroom as a replacement for worksheets under a document camera. While Goodnotes works very well overall, I noticed a critical limitation for classroom use:
When using a document camera, students can see my hand and the pen. This provides natural orientation: they immediately recognize when I start writing, where I am on the page, and when they should follow along.
In Goodnotes, this orientation is missing. Students often do not immediately realize that writing has started.
Students cannot clearly see where on the page I am currently writing or drawing. This is especiallyโ€ฆ

  19. TextDoc

I have been a GoodNotes user for several years throughout my undergraduate time and plan to continue using it through graduate school. I have fallen in love with the TextDoc option, but there are several issues. First, when exporting a TextDoc to a PDF, there is very little room on the "printed" PDF, especially if any headings are used, which is an integral feature for lengthy notes. If DevOps has any way to ensure the headings are kept while the overall size is altered when imported. This could be solved by changing the Text or Font size. Second, anotherโ€ฆ

  20. With every update, I feel like Iโ€™m losing out on convenience.
Now the Lasso tool โ€“ one of my most-used tools โ€“ has been pushed even further down the context menu, in favour of other fancy tools that I never use.
The Lasso tool must be right at the top of the list!

As not all of us have the same needs: please let us customise the context menu so that everyone can adapt it to their personal requirements. Thank you very much!
