[Handwriting to text conversion] Use currently selected custom text style
Scribble-to-Text Consistency: When converting handwriting to text, it defaults to a generic style. It would be much more efficient if the converted text automatically applied the user’s currently selected custom text style.

Text Tool Enhancements
Text Input Issues: Since upgrading to Goodnotes 6, typing has become frustrating. When clicking to type, the app often selects the entire PDF text block instead of placing a cursor. Please allow users to tap anywhere to start typing immediately without triggering existing text blocks. Currently, it's particularly difficult with a mouse or finger compared to the Apple Pencil.

allow arrows without rounded corner/bend
Whenever I want to use the arrow tool to draw axes (two perpendicular segments drawn with one stroke), I use an arrow with arrowheads at both ends. The problem is that, no matter what I do the corner is rounded
Is it possible to allow the corner bend NOT to be rounded?
I actually do not know whether this is a bug or a feature request...

Laser
Since the recent update, the laser got to make layers by each stroke. But it’s very inconvenient when I am writing letters, as the previous stroke shows up darker and the handwriting gets so messy.. please change it back so it can be used with one layer.

Spellcheck for Text Docs
Enable spellcheck in the Text Docs feature of Goodnotes. It would be useful to have the same spellcheck feature in the Text Docs feature as is seen in the Notebook function. As the Text Docs are used primarily for typing it would be good to have a spellcheck functionality.

Allow to move a freshly duplicate object to nearby pages
If I select a formula or whatever with the lasso tool, I can move it to another page without any problem.
However, If I duplicate something on a certain page, and then move this duplicate object into a nearby page, Goodnotes doesn't allow me to do that, and that's annoying.
As for now, to overcome this issue, I have to duplicate the desired text, leave it on the page in some empty space, and then select it with lasso to move it to the page where I want it to be.

Handwriting to text capitalization issue
Before the last major update, I never had issues with handwriting to text conversion capitalizing the first letter of the first word of the first sentence. Since the update, I have to rewrite the word (sometimes twice) to get it to recognize it's the beginning of a paragraph. Don't seem to have the issue once the first sentence is completed. This is time-consuming and frustrating, so a fix would be much appreciated.

Bullet list / Sub-bullet points
Allow indentation with bullet points on the "Bulleted List" on the new text feature on Goodnotes 5, not just on the first line of bullet points. Similar to how you would take notes using bullet points in Microsoft, Google, or Pages. PLEASE!

Laser rendering mode for ball pen
I've noticed that my handwriting looks significantly better and smoother when using the Laser Pointer (Trail style) compared to any of the permanent pen tools.
The laser pointer seems to have a superior smoothing algorithm and lower latency that isn't currently replicated by the "Stroke Stabilization" settings on the standard Ball Pen. I would like to request a new pen type or a "Laser Mode" toggle for the Ball Pen that uses this exact rendering engine for permanent notes.

Improve handwriting to text converter by removing newlines
Right now, when I convert my handwriting to text with the lasso tool, it also converts all the newlines. Any time I went to the next line because the line was full, the text now does to too. However, since text is more space-efficient, the newlines are placed randomly. There is no fast way of removing them, and when I ask AI to do it, it always changes some words as well, which I don't want. Can there be a way the converter understands my page layout or a button that just removes all newlines at once?

Brush pen well-suited for writing characters
字を書くのに向いた筆ペンが欲しいです。
今ある筆ペンは絵の具みたいな筆ペンで先が丸くなりすぎるので「止め跳ね払い」が反映されなくて字が潰れちゃう。万年筆だと線を書く向きで太さが変わるけどそれはアルファベットには向いてるけど日本語を書くのには変な太さになる。1 vote -
Text Doc Improvements
Love the new text doc feature, but it needs improvements.
Option to hyperlink to Text Docs. Right now it is greyed out when trying to link to them. Very inconvenient. It should have the option to link to the entire document and also Headings/ Subheadings within it.
Option to use drawing tools within the text doc.
More exporting features. Especially exporting as word document or actual text document. This is super important when trying to share editable writing with someone who doesn't use goodnotes.

Make "Text Docs" searchable
You recently introduced "Text Doc". I figured that text within these Text Docs is not searchable. You only find words used in the title of each Text Doc which is obviously limiting.

Bring back recent fonts tab
Bring back recent fonts section for text. I have multiple fonts I switch between constantly and use to be able to do it easily before the new update, now only the last custom font I used and a few random fonts I never use show up and the rest I need to scroll to find every time. Please make an option to have a recent or favorites font section easily accessible. Also please put the set as default button in a quicker and easier to locate spot. The steps it takes to find it is ridiculous.

Clean up option
I’d love to see an option that would allow GoodNotes to edit hand written notes using ai. Ai could detect/ view your overall handwriting style. When hand written notes are written more messy or not perfectly straight or if the letters are slightly bigger then good notes would fix it making it more neat, straight and same size. It would save the user so much more time from having to rewrite notes to make them straighter or having them be converted to text which most of the time the full sentence isn’t converted correctly so you have to edit it…

JUSTIFICATION
I would like to justify my text so that everything is aligned please - to make proper revision notes and documents!!
Maybe even drop versions with columns more intuitively as well!
