[Audio Recording] Prevent full menu from opening when unpausing in mini player
Please make it so that every time you unpause a recording on the miniplayer, the whole menu does not automatically pop up (Video demonstration attached).
It takes up a large part of the screen and moves the whole note page so I need to readjust every time, and when I play and pause one segment repeatedly I need to close it every time. I really enjoyed how it was in the previous update, where the bar was simply at the top next to a play/pause button. The new UI is fine, I just really don't want the whole menu poppingโฆ2 votes -
[Sharing] Enable direct upload or sharing to ChatGPT and email
Allow Notebooks from Goodnotes to be uploaded/shared (to Chatgpt/email/etc) directly from Goodnotes without needing to export it first, as it takes up double the space on the computer; plus it exports as a zip file when its more than 1 notebook, making bulk sharing/uploading very tedious

It seems as if the maximum text size in text field is 100. Iโd really appreciate if the max size would be increased.

Improved Pencil Tool Sensitivity and Shape
The pencil tool could benefit from the possibility of regulating sensitivity, stabilization, stroke streamlining, and CONCENTRATION allowing for smoother, more controlled lines when writing or sketching. At the moment, it feels a bit too dull and diluted, making precise work difficult. Additionally, it would be great if the pencil tip were round instead of flat, to better mimic the feel of a real pencil and produce more natural, consistent strokes.

Rescalable Templates
It would be great if GoodNotes allowed users to rescale existing paper templates. For example, when using an A4 template with a squared pattern, users could adjust the grid size (e.g., 4 mm, 5 mm, 1 cm, etc.) without changing the overall paper format. This flexibility would make it easier to customize templates for different needsโsuch as technical notes, sketches, or graphingโwhile maintaining a consistent page size and layout.

Improve text document beta
Iโm currently using Goodnotes for handwritten notes and pages for typing ones. Iโd love to do that all in Goodnotes. I think an improvement of the text document is well needed. For example, give the choice to visualise as one full page or divided in a4 pages, give more options tu personalise texts fonts, font size. All the features used in other apps.

I hope this doesnโt come across as too forward, but I have a suggestion Iโd like to share.
I would greatly appreciate it if you could create a dedicated bug report channel here.
For example, when a Sticky Note is positioned at the center or bottom of the screen, the screen automatically moves whenever the keyboard is opened. Iโve reported this issue multiple times through the in-app bug reporting, but even after several updates over the past few days, the issue still hasnโt been addressed.

Better left-handed support: free page positioning while zoomed
I am left-handed and when I zoom in to write with the Apple Pencil, the page always snaps back to the center automatically.
This makes it very hard to start writing on the far left side of the page, because I constantly end up writing at the edge.It would be very helpful if the page could be freely positioned horizontally (left/right) while zoomed in, without snapping back to the center.
An option to disable automatic centering or a dedicated left-handed writing mode would greatly improve the writing experience for left-handed users.2 votes -
Better text box useage
I love using scribble to have my notes written in a different font but I wish we could have as much flexibility with the lasso tool as we do with normal hand writing. For example sometimes to I do my math homework on there and I want to move some of the variables down or move only one word from the sentence but when using the lasso tool with text box the whole text box moves even when I only circle one part.

Why was it removed?
Why were the Arabic fonts removed? All my friends and I are upset about the removal of the Arabic fonts. If they are not returned, I and all my friends will cancel the subscription and it will not be renewed. This is a tragedy. I have a project that I have been working on and coordinating for three years. I am surprised that today it is in a state of chaos because of the removal of the fonts that I was applying to it.

[shapes] Please bring back the old shape settings
I canโt really use the new shape tool to teach geometry.
The new version
- attaches the handwritten data to the shape, so I canโt move them separately
- automatically deletes parts of my handwritten notes if itโs on a shape
- itโs not possible to rotate the shapes.
- I canโt remove the border of the shape.I attached a few drawings that could be made easily in the previous versions.

search option to select location
search option for selecting location! when moving a file-doc, I often will not know the location of the file or folder to which i want to move. it is too time-consuming to search by clicking on folders to find the location Iโm looking for. it would be great if there was a search window within the select, a location window!
