1. Features Request For Goodnotes Beta for Android&Windows

   1.First of all, we cannot edit when we are not connected to the internet. This is really bad. We should be able to use the application while offline.
   Also, the writing experience with the stylus pen in the android version is not smooth.

   2.You should make a trash bin.

   3.In order to use pen options more effectively, you should make a floating favorite bar and you should not set a number limit on this feature and we should be able to position this bar horizontally or vertically.

   4.There is a 100 mb file size limit when importing notes. This is really annoying. We cannot import our notes above this size because some pdfs can be several gb size. We don't want to be limited on this.

   5.For the convenience of drawing graphs, features such as dotted and dashed can be brought to the pen.

   6.You can bring pencil feature for those who like to use it.

   7.The automatic shape feature for shapes such as regular pentagon, regular hexagon, etc. does not work properly. It can be improved further.

   8.We can only add images and text boxes inside the notes. However, we should be able to add file types such as pdf, audio file. I know your IOS version has these features.

   9.Even if we select the darkest color in the highlighters, it becomes darker when we go over the place we marked. This is a bit annoying. It would be better if the color don't darken when we go over it again in the darkest color.

   10.For your Android version, the ability to move the storage directory of the application to the sd card would be very good because we have storage problems. (This would be a really life-saving feature.)

   11.A percentage selection feature related to the zoom feature is really a very essential need.

   12.The selection tool is only for moving selected objects. It would be nice if it also offers functions such as angular rotation, copying, deleting.

   13.When importing notes, there is a bug that sometimes forces you to repeat this process. Be aware of this.

   14.A function to lock the screen zoom in and out would be nice. You should also include a reading mode and in this reading mode the zoom lock feature should be available without forcing you to edit notes.

   15.I know you have the ability to write and preview simultaneously with the audio file in your IOS version, it would be great if you could enable it for Android and windows.

   16.I don't know if it exists but I couldn't do it :) We cannot sort the note pages. This feature can be very effective in page preview.

   17.You should definitely add functions like sorting, copying, moving notes and folders. These are indispensable features in terms of organization.

   18.Page and cover templates can be imported.

   19.Especially in your windows version, you can have smoother transitions when scrolling pages. Especially when scrolling from top to bottom with the mouse wheel, it scrolls very disproportionately.

   20.You can bring the ability to export notes. This is a really important need.

2. To improve the flashcards set

   When adding too many flashcards we need a searching tool so we can easily access any flash card we need without having to look through all of them. we need more colors, and themes for the flashcards, adding voice notes would be very helpful as well, and most importantly, swiping between the flashcards needs to be improved.

3. Dynamic (gif) notes

   Please bring dynamic notes that replay on the page (it would help with seeing the steps to draw organic molecules) pleaseee this feature would be a huge addition to good notes

4. Goodnotes for web

   I am looking for a high-quality notes web application that can run on any platform. While I enjoy using GoodNotes on my iPad, as a Linux programmer, I am unable to edit my notes from my workstation.

5. Audio recording: link to the page where it was recorded (and a few other things)

   1. It’s hard to scroll though 200 pages of written notes, just to find where the audio was recorded. It would be amazing for us students, if there was an option to see what page/where the audio was recorded.

   2. Please add an update to let us rename recorded audio files.

   3. Change playback speed of the audio.

   4. Add an option that automatically adds the date and time when a new page is created. (This could also help find audio recordings based on date and time of the recording, and the page)

   5. When you draw and hold, it presets into a shape, please add an update, for arrows.

   6. This one isn’t a must have, but it would be really fantastic if there was an update for smoother pen (ink) playback, when your playing back audio.
      (Btw I’m an a-level student)

6. Side note near PDF

   I use Goodnotes for reading academic papers in college and it would be very useful if I can take notes right next to paper, not in another notebook. So, when I open the pdf, I also want to see the side notes I took in the same page.

8. Bring back the old "Hold page" Presentation Mode interface

   When using Presentation Mode with AirPlay set as "Mirror Presenter Page," GoodNotes used to hold the displayed tab when going back into the file interface. This was very effective for avoiding distraction for students when looking for a new file to display. It appears that in mid May with no explanation this feature was removed.

   Now, when pressing the "back" button to browse files, the AirPlay display now shows the file interface, rather than holding the displayed page frozen.

   This feature was critical to how I used GoodNotes in my classroom, and I hope it could be reverted, even is as a toggle feature in Settings.

   I imagine others may be surprised when as "back to school" season approaches that this interface was changed. Please upvote if this was important to you as well.

9. Automatic backup: integration of pcloud.com with their API

   Your automatic backup is a great feature My request: Please include https://www.pcloud.com/ in your list of backup locations.

   The backup folder should be user defined.

   The ability to restore GoodNotes notebooks from backup should also be implemented.

   pCloud has a full API: https://docs.pcloud.com/. Maybe https://pipedream.com/apps/pcloud can help you or give you some ideas.

12. Font Display From IPad to Iphone

    I spend hours on aesthetic notes on my iPad to then view the same notes scattered on my iPhone. They are layered on one another and I cannot read or view them properly on my phone. Please fix!

13. Control f function for flashcards

    PLEASE create the control f function for flashcards. Would literally save my life. Cause I have a bunch of flashcard for my anatomy lectures and it's hard to have to go through them one at a time.

16. Links that work inside Goodnotes to pages, objects, text

    Ability to link to locations (pages, objects, text, etc.) within Goodnotes. I want to add tabs (like section dividers in physical notebooks) and link them to the start of a section, let's say an index. Then, on an index page, link to the specific page of a topic (and so on). It looks like everyone is building their templates in Keynotes, then PDF, then import. This is fussy, but works. The problem with this workaround is that you have to define all your pages when you build your template. You typically don't know how many topics each section will have when building your template and adding blank pages as placeholder is not helpful. Thanks in advance for consideration.

18. Collapsable text boxes

    When working on an exercise sheet it is annoying to go back and forth between the sheet and the extra page you're writing on. It would be amazing if goodnotes had boxes that you can add right on the exercise sheet which can be collapsed to hide / expanded to edit so you have the (potentially long) solution you wrote right next to the exercise.

19. Change text box preset

    Preset colors can be specified for both handwriting and highlights.

    However, the preset of the text box is not changed.

    The problems that arise here are:

    It is difficult to change the color of only part of the text box
    -> It is possible to change some colors through customization, but if you try to change it using a color code, the entire text box is selected and some changes are not made.

    If you want to change the color of only some of them, you need to add text boxes, create spaces between sentences, and align the text boxes added in between them.
    -> It is difficult to move the text box according to the spacing after inserting a space according to the size of the text box to be changed.
    -> In case of adding a text box, when converting to pdf and dragging the content, each text box is converted to a separate text, and the original document and text arrangement are changed.

    Therefore, it is much quicker and simpler to change the color by designating a preset that the user wants, and it is also convenient to create a document.

    Preset colors can be specified for both handwriting and highlights.
