1. Need adjustable pencil sensitivity !!

   I am a current user of GoodNotes 6 and have been enjoying the new pencil feature. However, I’ve noticed that the pencil appears quite faint unless I press down with significant force. When writing with a lighter touch, the lines are too light and difficult to see clearly.

   I believe an option to adjust the pencil’s sensitivity, allowing users to control how dark or light the pencil strokes appear, would greatly improve the experience. This feature would be especially helpful for users like me who prefer a darker stroke without having to apply too much pressure.

2. Image to text - Extracting text from an image or pdf

   To be able to upload an image/pdf and have AI generate a copy of the text within that image/pdf to be able to copy and paste it. I often find myself having to re-type something from an image or an app (that doesn’t allow me to copy) so having this feature would work wonders. 6. Full LaTeX Math Conversion Recognition

   For a math conversion tool, it's essential that Goodnotes should be able to recognize every mathematical or science symbol/sign. Simple symbols like the mathematical “therefore” symbol, ∴ , can't be recognized, making writing and converting one's math's notes a challenge especially in academic writing. Now I realize there are a lot of symbols out there, but one way to go about it is to take a look at the comprehensive lists at ctan.org. They have comprehensive list of every LaTeX symbol, which pretty much equates to every math symbol that can be indentified for conversion. I've attached one such file. Hopefully this helps.

8. make custom color palettes and synchronize them for the normal pen and highlighter

   It would be great to make your own custom color palettes to switch between different ones and being able to synchronize these with the color palette of for example the highlighter pen, so you can make nice notes within a color scheme

   Being able to change emails.due to update I had realise that I had purchased the onetime deal on my school email I through it would be under my Apple ID which was a stupid mistake.due to going to university now I would like to change it to my own personal email as the school email may soon be deleted.i try to find anything related but no answer so far

10. Direct Document Access: Edit and Sync PDFs in GoodNotes from iCloud and Local Folders

    Situation:
    As a frequent user of GoodNotes, my primary activity involves editing PDF files. I import numerous documents into the app to annotate and review them using my Apple Pencil. These edits include highlighting key information and jotting down spontaneous thoughts. Once edited, I export these PDFs to store them in my personal file system, including iCloud, for access through various other tools like Obsidian or Adobe Acrobat Pro.

    Improvement:
    I propose an enhancement where GoodNotes can directly link to specific folders on iCloud or local storage on a MacBook. Instead of importing PDFs into GoodNotes' internal storage, this feature would allow GoodNotes to display and edit PDFs directly from their original locations. Any changes made within GoodNotes would automatically update the original PDF files in their respective folders.

    Benefits:
    This integration would streamline the workflow significantly by:
    • Reducing Redundancy: Eliminate the need for multiple imports and exports of the same file, saving time and storage space.

    Lock function is required

    When I memorize and exercise, I want to rewrite the content on the page after finishing work.
    In this case, lock function is required so that previously made part can not be erased.

    Entire page deleting function is required after rewriting.

    Choose specific folders and files for backup
    Choose where the specific folders are stored withing the cloud

15. Changing font size of font and font style on keyboard function (Keyboard Menu)

    When using keyboard function on the menu bar I can only change the style and formatting to the pre-set styles. I would like to have the ability to change Font size, Font style (Helvatica, Arial, etc.) I can do this on the Pen menu but not on the keyboard menu.

20. Typing columns

    The ability to create your own columns on a blank sheet of paper so that you are able to use the entire page and not just the left/middle/right of the page.

    Also the two and three column template is currently broken and will only let you write in one of the columns (as seen in the attached image)
