Drop down arrow for the rest of our Pen colors
have our 4 favorite pen colors then next to it have a drop-down arrow (just like the arrow for hidden tools) with the rest of our color palettes. That way we won’t have to constantly scroll back and forth to change our stroke settings and so we won’t have limited colors options / only 12 of our favorite pen colors

Vertices/ points for shapes
Previously I could easily edit the points/vertices of the shape….. with the new update, it is much inconvenient to edit the points. Please bring it back… it is easily to teach triangle area if I could easily shift the vertex

Support for STEM Students (LaTex, Codeblocks, Circuit blocks)
I know a lot of engineering students that use this app, but have to use many other apps as well to take coding, circuit or higher level math classes. I use https://www.stempad.com/editor but would rather use GoodNotes6 because of all your other great features. The code and circuit block don't even need to be functional, just formatted like code and maybe helps you code like VS Code based on the language. It just takes a lot of time going back and forth between apps.

Standardschrift
Die Standardschrift soll für ein Dokument einstellbar sein (wie bei der alten Version)
Es ist unglaublich mühsam, bei jedem neuen Text Feld öffnen: Schriftgrösse, Fett oder nicht, Schriftfarb etc. einzustellen.

allow bigger font sizes and readability in the text document file
Firstly, i would like to say im working with goodnotes 6, and a macbook air
the text document is a new feature which I understand but at the moment ive no idea why its pushed to production. the text size is so small and doesnt work when i try to make it bigger, i cant change the font size. Allow us to change the font size of paragraphs because now it's so small im basically straining to see
allow me to copy and paste vcscode code into the code block. ive no idea why i have to retype everything in when i can just copy and paste but it does not work at all.
allow nested bullet points. there are many instances i would need a nested bullet points but atm goodnotes do not have any. i like the way notion made their notetaking website, but since i paid for goodnotes, i would like to use it to keep all my notes, especially because i need the collab feature
allow light and dark mode switching. my macbook system is in dark mode but i specifically switch it to light just so i can see my text document in light, there should be a feature to allow us to switch to light without switching the system feature

Functions Needed
The text tool should be pinned all the time and not having to pin it each time.
A lock function or layer function. Noteful has this and they are significantly cheaper than goodnotes.
Move the stupid back button back on the toolbar. It takes up space for my document. And covers the document. For us digital planner people the space is important.

move undo redo arrows to top right corner
I am left handed and with the undo/redo arrows on the top left corner in Goodnotes 7 I can (and occasionally have) involuntarily touch the buttons. An option for left handed persons to move the buttons on the right top corner would be great

Studyset
Post making a study Set of any Main Topic, which which will have ‘n’ number of subtopics. But the next day when we get notification to study our study set, and when we open it, it gives us prompts showing one of the subtopics. If we don't want to answer it, if we want to skip it, there is NO option of "Skip".
If we close our Study Set and open it again, we will again be given the same subtopic which we have shown earlier which we wanted to skip earlier. There is no switching to a new subtopic.
We are requesting you to consider making the subtopics as random as possible so that each subtopic is reflected each and every time we close and open the study set. Also, if possible, consider adding a skip button or skip option which will not hamper the saved data, of that particular study set.

About the new update, some old “move” can’t be use anymore which is annoying
- the drawing straight line correction, Maybe I draw a box but I sometimes I don’t need it to be too big, after update u fixed a minimum size which is not even useful, so as draw small triangle it minimum size is an isosceles triangle which I was only try to draw a better look, Delta for maths……
- Same problem to Arrow which is a triangle, I know you add new thing to show arrow but u should try try yourself I think it still need more update to be user funny, like I can’t even change to arrow’s aim if I\there is a box so close to which I pointing it fix me to that box which I don’t even want, and if I self redirect it, it is not allowed ….
- After draw a box , u now fix it to be a table form which if I add hand writing into the box the join together, and it is stupid enough I cant use Rubber to remove unless I Idrop it out of the box first …..how helpful is this…zzz
- Before I can save any handwrite to be sticker but I find now …stupid ….the handwrite write after put in a table can’t save as sticker……
I like you guys re updating the Goodnotes to be come better, but can you not removing a lot of useful things every update

[Tape] Remove Tape on PDF Export
I love the tape feature, but it’s annoying that the PDF backups of my goodnotes files on google drive have tape on them. It’s useful if it’s in the app, but it’s not for backups. Goodnotes, please fix this! Give us an option to remove tape on backups and exports.

Improve search feature
Please improve the search feature, at present it misses most of the searches which are already present in the document, are are searchable on other apps like pdfexpert and noteful, please improve the search feature and improve it to make it like pdfexpert app search functionality or noteful

Missing a feature
After the update ,goodnotes 6 is missing a feature to lock the text box. This is very inconveinet now. I like to handwritting over a tex box, but the tex box is keep moving around while i‘m handwriting whithout the feature. Or maybe I can‘t find that after the update. Could you let me know where I can find that feature? This is very essential feature to me.

Zooming out pdf
1.When we open a PDF, it always opens at 100% size. If I try to zoom out using two fingers, it automatically snaps back to full screen as soon as I release my fingers. But this doesn’t happen in other apps—zooming out there makes it easier to scroll through the PDF …It should zoom out the same way it does in the second picture, although I took that screenshot while holding it with my fingers
- Also, this app doesn’t have a separate option to change the background theme. It automatically uses the device’s theme, but there should be an independent option for this as well

Multiple Line Highlighting
Highlighting is very tedious on this app. I agree with the many other posts that are requesting straight line highlighting and snap to text highlighting (as an option in addition to the current highlighter). However, I would like to take the snap to text feature one step further.
If I need to highlight 3 lines in a paragraph, I shouldn’t have to make 3 separate highlighter actions. I should only have to put my pencil on the first word, and drag it to the last word. The software should highlight everything in between. In the image I attached, I put my pencil on “the” and dragged it to “only”. The app took care of highlighting everything else.

Table of Contents Efficiency
When I am working in a large document (several hundred pages), navigating the TOC is cumbersome. If I’m on page 23 of 900, and know I need to go approximately 3/4 of the way into the document to a chart, I have to scroll and scroll and scroll until I get there.
The app I’m attempting to replace with Goodnotes, GoodReader, has an extremely efficient TOC that you can click through easily. You can see the entire document and just tap where you want to go. If I need to navigate the documents actual TOC, bookmarks, or any annotations I made, there’s a button to bring those up.
I am constantly jumping back and forth through documents and honestly despise the current method. This is one feature that might make me stay with my current app.

Better Support for Comic and Manga Reading
I like reading comics and manga and marking them up. Goodnotes has the best markup I have tried. But there are some panels in the books that join into one, and when I import my PDFs I can only see half of the panel at once. I would like to be able to see two pages at once. Gapless would be ideal, but I imagine it makes sense for there to be a gap. A toggle would help.
Bonus Points if I can choose to read from right to left as well so I can read both comics and manga, and choose which document has which scrolling behavior.I like reading comics and manga and marking them up.
