Insert page of specific size
Please can you add an option where you can customise the size of the page being added? This will be especially useful when adding a new page to an already existing PDF that is not the same size as one of the template options. What would be even better would be if the app could detect the size of the current paged in use (like with the “use current template”) option, but then it lets you insert either a blank or a lined page.

Custom Colours Shared Between Text and Pen
Currently, the only way to have custom colours that are the same in text and drawing tools is to manually duplicate the hex code for each colour from the drawing tool palette to the text tool palette and vice versa. I do a lot of colour-coding in my notes, and use both text and writing; an option for a shared custom colour palette between text and drawing would be wonderful, and save a LOT of time.

Grouping of outlines/ bookmarks
I would like to use GoodNotes as my bullet journal but sometimes it can still be a bit tedious (maybe it’s just mentally lol) and I wish that we can actually group outlines together.
So for example I can create bookmarks for “Quotes (life)” and “Quotes (friendship)” then I can group them together as “Quotes”, instead of having to scroll through the lists to find each quote page separately.

less space between icons / thumbnail view
Goodnotes 5:
Thumbnail view of the various notebooks as well as the thumbnail view of the pages within a notebook contains a lot of space between the thumbnails - wasting a lot of display area, and making it difficult to read the thumbnail content.
So: Use much less space between the thumbnails, and make them larger (check noteshelf 2, but make it even better i.e. with even less space than there!).22 votes -
More options in toolbar for zoom window
I think it would be great if the zoom window toolbar could be customizable.
For example, I frequently use the shapes tool so it would be convenient if I could move that tool down to the zoom window toolbar. Or for other users, they may want to move the highlighter tool down, etc etc. If the zoom window toolbar could be customizable, it could be made more efficient for each user’s needs.
Also, I would like to be able to add more than 3 color presets to toolbar. This could be useful for people like me that need to quickly…

Color, theme ,voice recording
I would love this app even more if there are more brush styles and color feature because it's difficult to enter code # or multiple choosing color without entering code. And also more themes , voice recording, and catagories

Lock page position and page zoom for entire notebook
I really like the ability to lock a page position and zoom when using Goodnotes as an electronic whiteboard for lecturing. However, a rather annoying trait is that the screen lock turns off every time the page advances.
It would be nice to have an option to "lock all pages".

Add the ability to add an left-side offset to the auto-advance-field for left-handers
Please add the option to have the auto-advance field not start at the very left but an offset that you can setup yourself.
Following problem is occurring:
As right-handed writer, you can rest your hand on the middle/right side of the screen (especially in landscape) and only use the left part to write... lets say only writing to the middle and then switch back to the beginning, giving you an option to write without moving your hand.
As left-hander I can't rest my hand on the left side of the screen. If I could setup an offset for the auto-advance-field…22 votes -

export non-flattened PDF
It appears that when PDFs are exported they are done so as a "flattened" PDF. It would be great if the PDF elements were still editable after export - both the written notes and any fields if they were included in the original PDF.

Scribbling out of a hand written word or line erases that word.
Sometimes when I make a mistake while hand writing in good notes I just scribble the word out then have to erase it later. Some sort of feature that recognizes I scribbled out a word and then erases it would be superb.

pen smooth streamline procreate stabilization
pen smooth streamline procreate stabilization .
There are a pages and pages of people requesting this as an improvement. They are scattered into many posts, but they are all trying to say the same thing!!
The problem is, people aren't sure how to describe what they are looking for. It took me a while to discover they are called streamline and stabilization... and I have Procreate. Most people are typing in web searches like 'how can I make my writing smoother' or 'better handwriting with pen'. This feature is what they are looking for. It is too bad that it…
