Option to clear page while keeping images
It would be very helpful to have a clear page option that removes handwriting and text but keeps inserted images intact. I frequently take pictures of suggested problems or textbook problems, and after some time i want to resolve then and get rid of my old computations and scribbles.

Allow text sizes below 8pt (1โ7pt)
Hello, thank you for always providing a wonderful app.
I would like to request a feature regarding the text tool in GoodNotes 6.
In the current version, the minimum font size is fixed at 8pt.
However, in previous versions, being able to use 1โ7pt was extremely helpful for writing small annotations, subscripts, chemical formulas, and compact notes.If possible, I would greatly appreciate it if you could:

Linking text documents, not only normal notebooks
Version 7.0.18: At the moment, it's only possible to link notebooks. It would be useful to link text documents, too.

MOVE TEXT BOX WITHOUT LASSO
Allow text boxes to move from page to page without lasso tool. Since the text box is already a moveable item it would be nice to be able to move it from page to page without it disappearing. The lasso seems like an unnecessary extra step

Screenshot
Each newest verion of the app makes things worse and worse. Before this latest update if you selected the lasso tool and had handwriting seletion off when you took a screenshot the handwriting would be omitted from the screenshot. Now even with handwriting seleted off you take a screenshot and it includes the handwriting. What is the point of not selecting handwriting if it is still showing in the screenshot?
If I hadn't spent $30 and had years of notes for school, I would switch apps. I am so disapointed with what this app has become. They're just pushing AIโฆ

Handwriting-to-Text Font Preset Featu
Please add an option to set custom font presets for handwriting-to-text conversion. When I convert handwritten notes, the text always switches to the default font, and I have to reformat everything manually. Being able to choose and save presets (e.g., Noteworthy Bold for headings and Noteworthy Light for body text) would save a lot of time and make notes much cleaner instantly.

Inverse questions and answers in flashcard
There should be a way to reverse the flash card to learn the questions from the answers? Quizlet, a competing app, does this, and I can't find the equivalent on Goodnotes :(

Random smart learning
When using the โLearning resource cards,โ there are two modes: โfree trialโ and โsmart learning.โ There is a really useful option in the free trial called โrandom,โ which allows you to randomly start from either the question or the answer of a card. Iโm wondering why this random setting isnโt available in smart learning yet. Itโs really helpful for learning vocabulary in a foreign language and similar things, but we canโt do that in smart learning.

bring back continuous text box and allowing use to set to specifc font color
New update removed ability to stay on typing function and will revert back to Lasso. This is so annoying. Also bring back allowing the user to choose their default font color. My school uses dark colored ppts and when typing the auto selected black font makes it impossible to keep up with note taking as i constantly must highlight the text and change it to white font.

es wรคre schรถn, wenn man die eigenen Vorlagen noch weiter bearbeiten kรถnnte.
Die von mir importierte Vorlage ist z.B. in links 1/3 Korrekturrand und rechts 2/3 linierter Bereich aufgeteilt.
Wenn ich in dieser Vorlage allerdings die Funktion โmit tippen startenโ wรคhle, wird leider nicht in dem dafรผr vorgegebenen Bereich geschrieben.
Auch das Zoom-Fenster wรผrde ich gerne automatisch auf den Beginn der Zeile springen lassen. Bisher zeigt das Zoom-Fenster nach dem Vollschreiben einer Zeile jedoch den linken Rand des Blaats an, der ja aber als Korrekturrand frei bleiben soll.2 votes -
Compass with customisable width, type of line, and moving centre
Please for the love of god, add a freaking compass! Itโs been a year and still nothing. The circle drawing tool is inaccurate, messy, off centre, and overall useless. Is it really that hard to make a simple tool as a compass?

Automatic Font & Line Spacing for Paper Templates
It would be wonderful if GoodNotes offered a simpler way to format text inside a text box so that it automatically matches the notebookโs paper lines. Right now, adjusting font size and line spacing requires trial and error, which can be timeโconsuming. A feature that helps align text perfectly with the chosen paper template (ruled, squared, etc.) would make writing and studying much smoother.
Such an option would ensure that typed notes look as natural and organized as handwritten ones, saving users time and improving readability.

Optical Character Recognition Feature
Why can't GoodNotes find certain words from inserted images when I use the search feature? The goodnotes team should really implement an optical character recognition feature, like the ones that one note and notability has. It is so disappointing that we are unable to search for words in a document with images, which would help a lot of students studying in med professions.

Add a toggle for quick selection
Quick selection is clunky and gets in the way. The tool doesnโt do layers well so realistically tapping on an object never works for me. I remember this being an option in GoodNotes 5, where I can disable click to select different objects (universal selection?) and that really simplified things for me. Iโm not sure why that option is taken away.

fix autoadvance
fix auto advance so eraser stops getting triggered every time you go to write on the blue section, it happens every time even if i don't try to trigger it and it's driving me nuts
