Inverse questions and answers in flashcard
There should be a way to reverse the flash card to learn the questions from the answers? Quizlet, a competing app, does this, and I can't find the equivalent on Goodnotes :(

Random smart learning
When using the “Learning resource cards,” there are two modes: “free trial” and “smart learning.” There is a really useful option in the free trial called “random,” which allows you to randomly start from either the question or the answer of a card. I’m wondering why this random setting isn’t available in smart learning yet. It’s really helpful for learning vocabulary in a foreign language and similar things, but we can’t do that in smart learning.

bring back continuous text box and allowing use to set to specifc font color
New update removed ability to stay on typing function and will revert back to Lasso. This is so annoying. Also bring back allowing the user to choose their default font color. My school uses dark colored ppts and when typing the auto selected black font makes it impossible to keep up with note taking as i constantly must highlight the text and change it to white font.

Bearbeitung eigener Vorlagen
Guten Tag,
es wäre schön, wenn man die eigenen Vorlagen noch weiter bearbeiten könnte.
Die von mir importierte Vorlage ist z.B. in links 1/3 Korrekturrand und rechts 2/3 linierter Bereich aufgeteilt.
Wenn ich in dieser Vorlage allerdings die Funktion „mit tippen starten“ wähle, wird leider nicht in dem dafür vorgegebenen Bereich geschrieben.
Auch das Zoom-Fenster würde ich gerne automatisch auf den Beginn der Zeile springen lassen. Bisher zeigt das Zoom-Fenster nach dem Vollschreiben einer Zeile jedoch den linken Rand des Blaats an, der ja aber als Korrekturrand frei bleiben soll.2 votes -
Optical Character Recognition Feature
Why can't GoodNotes find certain words from inserted images when I use the search feature? The goodnotes team should really implement an optical character recognition feature, like the ones that one note and notability has. It is so disappointing that we are unable to search for words in a document with images, which would help a lot of students studying in med professions.

Add a toggle for quick selection
Quick selection is clunky and gets in the way. The tool doesn’t do layers well so realistically tapping on an object never works for me. I remember this being an option in GoodNotes 5, where I can disable click to select different objects (universal selection?) and that really simplified things for me. I’m not sure why that option is taken away.

fix auto advance so eraser stops getting triggered every time you go to write on the blue section, it happens every time even if i don't try to trigger it and it's driving me nuts

The recognition speed for drawing perfect lines, curves, and shapes is too slow. Would it be possible for the software to automatically identify the image and turn it into a perfect shape after I draw a relatively rough line? Otherwise, a lot of time will be wasted waiting for the drawing to become a perfect shape.

Apple Pencil Integration
Goodnotes should add a native option that lets the Apple Pencil Pro double tap switch between specific tools like pen and shape with no menu steps, no delays, and no forced use of Apple’s default actions. The app should give users a simple tool toggle setting inside the Apple Pencil menu, where you pick two tools and the double tap flips between them. The app should also expose these tool switches as actions in the Shortcuts app so users can build custom automations. Do not automatically scroll to the end of the new page when pulling to add a page
The current behavior makes no sense. Why would I want to go to the end of the new page? Obviously, I want to be at its beginning. Why would adding a page even change my position is beyond me.

Smarter Auto-Return to Last Writing Tool
I want to describe my workflow to clarify the feature I'm asking for. I use the Apple Pencil with Goodnotes, and when I double tap the Pencil, it switches to the eraser. After I finish erasing, Goodnotes already has an option to return to the previous tool automatically, which is great.

Video clips and more writing tools and drag and drop of specfic page to my mind map
Everything is good I mainly use Goodnotes for mind mapping my lectures the only hindrance I faced that I was not able to add video clips to my notes, and also when I import PDF of my lecture notes in good notes. I can’t just drag and drop pages from like a specific slide to directly into my Notes, which is like a another hindrance because I have to take screenshot again and again and then put it back in. Make a visible scrolling bar
it's really annoying to have to leave the pen to scroll with the mouse because the scrolling bar is invisible. WHY?! i want to scroll with the bar on the side without putting away the pen to grab the mouse and scroll with the wheel. yes the scroll bar reappears when i scroll, but it's useless because it disappears after 2 seconds and does not appear in any way other than wheel scrolling with the mouse. Adaptive Pencil Size by Zooming
Minimum and Maximum size of the pencil and adaptive size when zooming from very close to far away.
