support to write in a straight line
I sometimes struggle to write in a straight line, it would be super cool if there'd be a feature, where you could insert some kind of ruler/support line, just a faint one, one that doesnt stay on the document, one that doesnt influence thats already written, that helps as a reference to write straight. thanks very much, apart from that, its a super super great app, i dont know how id do uni without you :D

Double tab to switch between the vertical and horizontal positions of ruler
It’s a little bit boring to insert the angle manually, especially when i just need switch between the orthogonal positions.

Seperate the Buttons for turning objects and changing their seize
Or just add additional buttons to do those things separately. Or better: give us the option to activate those additional buttons.
From time to time i don't want to change the seize of objects while i want to change their angle. Right now, for example, I am using a geometric ruler which isn't a standard tool for Goodnotes right now. In this App you draw a line, circle, triangle and hold your pencil for 1 second before you drop the pen.
Now you can easily enlarge, reduce and change the shape ratio.

A4 Scanning Option for Accurate Measurements
When scanning, each scanned document is converted to the US Letter format. This means an originally A4-sized sheet is shrunk and gains borders. This is problematic because I am a geometry teacher, and when a student draws a line of, for example, 7 cm on their A4 sheet, the internal Goodnotes ruler only reads 6.3 cm. This is inconvenient. I would like to be able to set the format to A4 during scanning so that all real lengths can be accurately measured by the Goodnotes ruler.

Shape snap tool automatically recognize intersections and move towards the intersection
Allow for the shape, pen, or highlighter snap feature to instinctively recognize an intersection of polygons, lines, or just a plain dot. This feature is mainly focused on imported documents and images. In the image below is a triangle (redrawn for clarity) where at each corner, the blue do for the highlighter snap shape is not at the corner. The snap tool should detect intersections, such as for a grid line or corner of a polygon, and automatically move to the intersection.

hello, you can add: 1) Ruler (for mathematics and graphs). 2) Dictaphone according to the text. 3) Eyedropper and transparency brush. 4) Written by hand in printed text. 5) Drawing tools. 6) Not only straightening lines, but also wavy lines, zigzags. 7) The ability to turn the sheet with your fingers (upside down, sideways, etc.).

Line referencing tool
Instead of having a ruler or a protractor one might simply have the ability to reference past lines. with the use of a reference tool, one could establish relationships relevant in the file. It might tell you what angle two lines form and set up a scale internal to the document. I mainly use Goodnotes to draw geometry because of its wonderful shape tool. It is much easier to use rather than constraining to the grid which feels awful, much like other programs. The drawback in goodnotes is there is no sense of scale or relationships.

horizontal and vertical rulers for precise item placement on the page
Please add horizontal and vertical rulers (similar to the rulers available is MS word / indesign, etc ...) so that the user would be able to place an object/write in a precise location. This is very helpful if someone intends to print a page with specific header/footer sizes and left/right margins, or for example if someone wants to place an object 4cm from the top, and 2cm from the left of the page.

Tool bar
The new tool bar is killing me. My notes are taking longer because I have to do more taps to get to the tool I want. the highlighter won't highlight straight anymore. Also, the shape tool has its own colors that don't match my chosen pen presents anymore. Please please fix the straight line tool. I can't draw charts or get an actual straight line without using the ruler which adds more steps to my process. Vertices/ points for shapes
Previously I could easily edit the points/vertices of the shape….. with the new update, it is much inconvenient to edit the points. Please bring it back… it is easily to teach triangle area if I could easily shift the vertex

Toolbar as a Toolbar and not as a hiding mechanism.
Please remove this ridiculous toolbar.
The toolbar is an essential place to find your tools - The way you could customize it was just great - Also it did not hide content behind a floating thingy.
Your decision to hide the ruler behind another tap (And just not allowing us to bring it to the front) is another miserable choice. How dare you?

Customizable Presets for Tool Combinations
Presets of tool combinations: Allow users to save and access frequently used combinations of tool settings directly from the toolbar.
Example 1: A preset for creating diagrams could include a dashed line, red color, 5pt thickness, and the ruler tool enabled.
Example 2: A preset for annotating text could include a yellow highlighter with 50% opacity and a black pen set to 2pt thickness.

Different shapes for eraser not just circle
Sometimes it would be helpful to have a rectangle or triangle or just a line as shape for erasing. Or at least the circle size be adjustable more than it is now.

Double a drawing with the lasso tool
If I select an area with the lasso, e.g. a math drawing such as a triangle , I want to double it sometimes because I often need it multiple times but right now I have to draw it again because there's no feature to double it. So it would be nice to get the 'double' feature on the lasso tool. This is really needed for all students!
