Improving Coloring Efficiency and Other Tools
GoodNotes can be limited when it comes to coloring. I wish we had a paint bucket tool to fill in areas faster, as well as a blending tool to avoid harsh lines when coloring. I often have to color for lab reports, and it's inconvenient to do that on GoodNotes. I also wish we could select things with the lasso without it dragging whatever is behind it. At times, I have to change a portion I colored, but it drags anything it overlaps with, making it difficult to select a specific area. The eraser tool can also have more sizing…

Hint
I would love to see a hint option added to the study cards. I believe it would add to the effectiveness of the memorizing process for many of us. Sometimes I just need a word or two to get me pointed in the right direction.

The revival of Goodnote 6+5
Goodnote 7 feels like Badnotes.
To improve it, I suggest restoring the following features:• The smooth performance of Goodnotes 5 (especially the instant PDF rendering)
• The toolbar layout from Goodnotes 5
• Keeping the “crumple-to-erase” feature from Goodnotes 6
• Keeping the folder organization feature from Goodnotes 6
I propose releasing “Goodnotes 11,” combining the best features of Goodnotes 5 and 6.

Turn off iPad screen when on Goodnotes
When I leave my iPad on Goodnotes it never closes by itself despite my iPad being on the 2 minute shut off time. On every other app it shuts down by itself but Goodnotes. Can we implement something that hinders this? It wastes a lot of battery

Make the voice imported or exported within the file or alone
My idea is make the voice imported from voice memo or export it alone or within the file itself ( as in the pdf expert and document app ) as shown in the photo below
Please voice this as it is crucial for every persone to save there files for the future

Showing Zoom% in Notebooks
I really love the new Whiteborads, especially because I can see the % of Zoom, and I can also change it accuratly.
I would love the some functionality in Notebooks, so every time I write with the same resolution.
For example: I find most convenient to write in my notebook at 86%, so my letters are all the same size.I know that there is a zoom window, but I don't like to use that, because I takes half of the screen of my iPad and the scale is just too big for me.

Bring back the old pen
I really miss the consistent style of the pen before the most recent update, the new pen is thicker and thinner in different places and its honestly unusable for me. I also miss the feature that you guys had a little while ago with the magnified writing box, it really helped with writing long sentences and streamlining note taking :)

Text Box Issues
When I use the text box, the line height keeps changing. I have to and adjust the line height for each sentence, despite having a set default. I also hate how it goes to Lasso all the time, I never use Lasso. I miss Goodnotes 6 as it was easier to use for someone who struggles with technology.

I want to invert white and black.
When filming live, white backgrounds are too bright and interfere with the live stream, so I want to invert white to black.

Single color palette for all tools
Please consider adding the ability to create a single color preset palette that can be used & modified by all applicable tools (ie pen, highlighter, pencil, shape, and text). I have at least 50 different pen tool color presets that are not all presets for the highlighter, shape, and text tools, but are used regularly to color code notes. If I write something in one of those colors then need to draw/highlight/type something later in the same color but the preset is not saved in the respective tool, I either have to copy the color from the pen tool or…

Rounded corners on shapes
There should be an option to draw shapes with rounded corners added to the new stroke settings similar to the ability to draw dashed and dotted lines and arrows heads. This idea was posted 2 other times back in 2020 but has not been addressed or updated.

Revert Back Some Item
Need to change back to the way it was before the latest update. Drawing straight lines became really ******. The text box sucks big time. Text box before and how you saved the text box settings was way better before. I do like the drawing arrow features. The way it jumps automatically from text box to lasso sucks big time. I use goodnotes a lot at work (electrician) and ive been pushing more and more people to start using goodnotes in the past. New Shape Tool: Ability to disable auto-connection of shapes
Please create the option to turn off auto connection of connector lines to pre-defined shapes drawn with the shape tool. I understand this was designed for diagramming but I am picky about my notes being neat, organized, and symmetrical so I really like using this tool to draw my own figures as well as perfect arrows/shapes. However, the auto connect makes it very frustrating and annoying to use because my lines are redirected to connect to nearby shapes and there is no way of detaching them to still draw the lines where I need them to go. New update = hot garbage
- The tool bar being ON my document is blocking parts of my notebook, making my working area smaller.
- When in split screen mode half of the toolbar disappears(we used to be able to scroll over still) and will only reappear if i make the window bigger.
- Instead of functions being displayed on the toolbar i now have to press extra buttons to get to things like the bookmark, but why?
- Why is my pen automatically the lasso? In GoodNOTES you would think i would automatically need the pen no?

OneDrive Syncronization (Automatic Backup)
Please add an option to Automatically backup files of folders in OneDrive in Goodnotes 6 as it was before in Goodnotes 5.
It is important for me because i have other devices Android and Window and i can not reach for the files saved in iClould if i want to refer to them later on and it is exclusively in my IOS device (iPad)1 vote
