translate or share options on pdf
there is no translate option when i hold a word or a sentence of my pdf's and there is no share option also.
we don't want you go add a feature , the feature of the ios and share are exist whenever you touch and hold any word ,but it doesn't show on your platform !

Search function for flashcards
I have hundreds of flash cards as a uni student and I like to access individual ones to refresh my memory as I study. I have seen there is a search function for other documents but cannot find one for flash cards so I can't easily find a specific card without scrolling through the thumbnails? I absolutely love Goodnotes and use it all the time. University would be tons harder without it so thank you :) I would love a thumbnails search function for flashcards please.

Audio recordings saved to a page
I think it would be awesome if audio recordings could be saved to a page instead of a notebook as a whole. So for example MS PowerPoint you can record audio per slide and place a button to play the audio on the slide. This is great if your audio is only related or needed for a specific page and not the whole journal.

Handwriting with fountain pen
I don’t know why. Writing with the original Apple fountain pen in app like notes produces very neat and beautiful handwriting, but it is ugly when I try to use the fountain pain in Goodnotes. Do you have any suggestion? 😅

Study Set on Goodnotes for 'Windows'.
I'd like to create flashcards because it helps a lot in recalling topics for exams. It also gets easier to have this as a sort of note-taking. Please I'm begging Goodnotes for this feature to be included in the Goodnotes for 'Windows', this means a lot. Thank You.

Select texts in a PDF on macOS
The note-taking experience with Goodnotes on the iPad is exceptional, particularly the ease of selecting text in a PDF using just a finger.
However, this process is less intuitive on macOS, where it becomes necessary to disable the note panel to select text within a PDF document. Enhancing the macOS version with a dedicated mouse tool for text selection would significantly streamline the user experience.
Reading PDF document is a vital feature for many users. Please!

Blank space on side of page to allow better hand positioning for writing
Hey team, I just wanted to suggest a new little feature that would benefit a lot of people, especially case users.
I personally use a Logitech keyboard case with quite a thick lip around the screen of my iPad.
I write with my right hand, and when getting to the right side, then it’s really uncomfortable and hard to write on the right edge of the page.
My suggestion would be, to allow for the page to be able to be pulled into the screen, away from the edge. I know this wouldn’t be the most effective use of space,…4 votes -
Group Pages in a Notebook
I use a notebook for music for church band on Sundays. I upload a set of sheet music, and order the music for the Sunday we are going to play it. I would like to group the pages of each song together so when I move one page it moves the entire group of pages for that song at one time. I like to reorganize my pages so the set of songs for each Sunday are in order for that week.

A button on the start page to view already opened docs
If you return to the “documents” tab, and you want to view an already opened note, you have to find it among other notes and often hidden in folders just to open it again. A “view opened” button on the homepage of goodnotes would solve this issue!

Easy switch between dark and light template incl. changing of font color
I would like to have the option to easily switch between my dark template and close-to white font and a lighter background with a darker font.
Could be integrated into the template side. Eg contrast colors.
Or just with the shift from light to dark mode.→ it is really hard to search for words in my texts while having a dark template. There just isn’t enough contrast to show me the highlighted words; thus, I always have to change template and color…

IOS APP crashed at study card thumbnails page
when I create a "Study set " and add some cards at study set, turn to "Thumbnails" display, then press the "down narrow "at thumbnails card

Study set improved for language learning
Hi,
Study set is a great fonctionality.
I would love to use it to learn new languages.Currently, I am forced to write in question the word I would like to learn, in answer the answer in my native and do an other card with as question the word in native and as answer the word I want to learn.
It is time consuming. Can it be a part of Study Set to be able to revert and learn it as well ?

Goodnotes 6 paid but freemium only
I recently paid to upgrade to Goodnotes 6 as I really like the app and use it every day for work and teaching. However, I have been unable to use the app in the last two weeks as it claims (iPad only) that I am on the freemium service. I have followed all the instructions on the help page and while my MacBook agrees I have the premium service my iPad resolutely disagrees. Das hilft im Unterricht überhaupt nicht.
