Einfaches kopieren von Wörtern
Gerade ist es so, dass wenn ich eine PDF eingefügt habe ich nur sehr umständlich
einzelne Wörter markieren kann um diese dann z.B. zu kopieren.Ich muss erst das Textfeld erstellen Symbol auswählen
Dann kurz die linke Maustaste gedrückt halten und kann dann erst markieren.
Und wenn ich das Wort dann markiert habe funktioniert die Tastenkombination Str + C nur bedingt.Und außerdem ist es sehr schwer die richtige Zeit zum Mauszeiger bewegen zu finden da oft einfach ein Textfeld erstellt wird oder garnicht markiert.
(Keine Ahnung wieso das so kompliziert ist)Kann ich nicht einfach wie in einer PDF…

Undo/Redo Buttons
Please bring back the undo and redo buttons in the macOS version of Goodnotes. It is dearly missed by this teacher that uses Goodnotes for instruction.

Toggle that allows a Shaded Shape Without Outline
Please bring back the ability to erase the outline while keeping the shaded fill after using the “hold to perfect shape” feature. It was super useful for creating clean shaded boxes and diagrams. A toggle to separate fill and outline would be amazing!

Font dropdown window
Currently, choosing a font is time-consuming, not efficient. There are so many steps to choose the font I need. The recent update made it worse.
Now, a tiny window pops up with the default chosen (never the one I need). I then select "Custom Fonts" and a larger window pops up. I go find say, Bodoni. Change my font. But I find I don't like that font. I have to highlight the word or words, the small window pops up again, I choose Custom Fonts again, then have to find another font from the beginning. I'd like it to default…

Text Doc export
Add an option to easily export a text doc AS A TEXT DOC and not as a PDF.
Also fix the size and format of all textDoc settings so it wouldnt look so bad as a PDF3 votes -
Auto-refine/handwriting error
I’d like to suggest that GoodNotes add an auto-refine or handwriting smoothing feature that subtly corrects small imperfections in handwriting without changing the user’s natural writing style.
Currently, when writing with the Apple Pencil using the ballpoint pen, I’ve noticed that the strokes sometimes add unwanted flicks or extra lines at the end of letters, which makes the handwriting look less clean and natural, this is extremely irratating as on other app my handwriting doesnt appear to be like that. Even with the stability setting at zero, it still happens, and it disrupts the flow of writing, especially for users…

Find and replace text
For long text documents, it would be helpful to have a find and replace option. I have a document, for example, that has 124 instances of the same name that needs to be changed. Right now, I can only do it manually in Goodnotes 6.

Screenshot
Each newest verion of the app makes things worse and worse. Before this latest update if you selected the lasso tool and had handwriting seletion off when you took a screenshot the handwriting would be omitted from the screenshot. Now even with handwriting seleted off you take a screenshot and it includes the handwriting. What is the point of not selecting handwriting if it is still showing in the screenshot?
If I hadn't spent $30 and had years of notes for school, I would switch apps. I am so disapointed with what this app has become. They're just pushing AI…

Add automatic handwriting refinement, like in the Apple Notes app.

Typing/Text Box Needs Improvement
I enjoy typing most of my notes but then adding drawings/figures underneath them, but I find the text feature to be lacking and very frustrating. Specifically the bullet point list needs to be updated and there should be more options to tab lists (like on google docs). Also sometimes when I go back into a text box it will start typing the letters below the previous word. I just find the text box feature super glitchy and could be improved.

Make a separate bookmark option when we access all pages part.
Previously it was great. Now I have to select separately whether I want to switch between the two. Remove the audio option and bring back the bookmark option instead.

Bearbeitung eigener Vorlagen
Guten Tag,
es wäre schön, wenn man die eigenen Vorlagen noch weiter bearbeiten könnte.
Die von mir importierte Vorlage ist z.B. in links 1/3 Korrekturrand und rechts 2/3 linierter Bereich aufgeteilt.
Wenn ich in dieser Vorlage allerdings die Funktion „mit tippen starten“ wähle, wird leider nicht in dem dafür vorgegebenen Bereich geschrieben.
Auch das Zoom-Fenster würde ich gerne automatisch auf den Beginn der Zeile springen lassen. Bisher zeigt das Zoom-Fenster nach dem Vollschreiben einer Zeile jedoch den linken Rand des Blaats an, der ja aber als Korrekturrand frei bleiben soll.2 votes -
Automatic Font & Line Spacing for Paper Templates
It would be wonderful if GoodNotes offered a simpler way to format text inside a text box so that it automatically matches the notebook’s paper lines. Right now, adjusting font size and line spacing requires trial and error, which can be time‑consuming. A feature that helps align text perfectly with the chosen paper template (ruled, squared, etc.) would make writing and studying much smoother.
Such an option would ensure that typed notes look as natural and organized as handwritten ones, saving users time and improving readability.

Remove font size cap
With the new update the font size is capped at 100 which for larger documents is still too small. Please let us insert whatever size we want like before.

border shape
Hi, I used to make filled rectangles without borders in GoodNotes, but after the latest update I can’t find how to do it anymore. I’ve tried using Undo and even the eraser, but I still can’t remove the border line.

Toggle or change to Eraser in pen tools (7.0.6)
Choosing pen tools but it keeps going to eraser.
The mode that wrap annotations (pen, editing, writing) in one place including eraser is someone troubling me.
When used lasso tools then change to pen, it keeps getting to eraser before pen. When it wasn’t merge before, I can manually select pen then it’s pen.
Now when I select pen, it goes to eraser.I want it to be pen first when I choose the category.

Disable long press menu as a palm rejection option
When I’m writing with my apple pencil I’m constantly accidentally activating the paste, zoom, comment, link long press menu with my fingers, I never use this menu, so I think it would be helpful to be able to disable it in the palm rejection settings menu.

Video Note Playback
Allow users to record a section in their notes, such as drawing out a diagram and its process, and be able to video playback it. It would be super resourceful since you wouldn't only see the end product, but you'd be able to see the process of how you got there. It can reduce copying and pasting of notes to demonstrate the process.
