Highlight text tool
There is a free hand highlighter tool, but it makes highlighting multiple lines of text tedious because it requires dragging across each line of text in a paragraph.
However it is currently possible to press and select text and then tap on the "highlight" option in the menu that appears. However, this requires using a finger and is not possible with a stylus. It also requires multiple steps to accomplish.

Text Box
I find it very inconvenient to write a text. I feel uncomfortable trying to edit the characters because the text box keeps moving. I want a function to fix the movement of the text box.

2 page scrolling view
It would be great if something like a 2 page scrollling view could be added so that when we scroll through PDF version of our notes, especially exported slides, a better overview of the set of notes could be seen. This is in comparision to what we have now, where we scroll through the document page by page. Going through each set of notes might take quite some time when there are many pages in a document.

Pen and Tools Switching
Imagine you already wrote 5 different combinations on the same page. Color, thickness, pen style.
I'm thinking of a "picker" button on the left edge which I can press & hold with my finger. (enabling picker mode until I lift my finger)
When I tap the pen on the document, a zoomed hover-view shows up, I drag onto the pen stroke I want to reuse & lift off both my pen and finger.

Resizing Freeedom
I would like to see less restrictions with the resizing option of notes/pictures in the app. Firstly, all eight of the resizing nodes behave in the exact same way (with the selected item being resized with the same aspect ratio from the exact center). I think this needs to be swapped out for the ability to distort the image along the x- and y-axis with the appropriate nodes, while keeping the ability to scale it proportionally using the corner nodes. Convert from Microsoft Word and PowerPoint to GoodNotes
Please improve the importing of Microsoft Word or Microsoft PowerPoint directly into GoodNotes. When I import directly, graphics, equations, etc. don’t convert properly. I still have to import to an external app and convert to PDF before importing to GoodNotes. Thanks!

Insert PDF page into note paper "Not only as separate page"
If I create new note and I want to insert PDF page into that note I'm working on, this function is not available. The only way is to add the PDF page to your notebook as a separate page.
Sometimes, we need to create notes and support that notes with a PDF document.

Improve Indention Handling in Zoom Mode
Assume that I move the zoom box to a position in the middle of the page and start writing. When I hit the end of the line or touch enter, I expect the zoom box to jump to the same horizontal position I moved it to earlier and not to the left end end of the page.
I know this can be handled by setting left indention manually. But having this kind of auto-detect left border would be a welcome addition.Short Version:

Latex editor for math conversion

Code blocks
Many engineering, computer and data science, maths, and other technical degrees do a great deal of programming. I love writing all my notes in Goodnotes, but all my code snippets are all over the place. Sometimes I do try incorporate code blocks in my notes, but the process of screenshotting, cropping, and pasting is a hassle. Convert Text to Handwrtiting
Sometimes I have a hard time reading typed out text and understand my own handwriting better but it’s just so tedious writing everything out by hand. Since typing is more efficient, it would be nice to convert text to handwriting. We could start by writing the whole alphabet in capitals and lowercase and when we want to convert text to handwriting, it could replace the text characters with letters we’ve drawn out.

Move Page further to the left or right for comfortable writing
When I write on pages without margins, the left edge of my page is flush with the left edge of my iPad screen (or locked in the centre). This makes it uncomfortable to write from the very edge of the screen for left handed users. Could you possibly make it so the user has more control over how far left/right the page sits to allow for hand resting room?

Horizontal Split Screen
The average engineering student spends most of their time either taking notes or exercising and practicing off a sheet much like the one visible in the screenshots.
The current situation provides no comfortable way of displaying the assignments without the use of a secondary device or constantly "tabbing" back and forth between assignments and notes to copy them.As of iPad OS 13.4.1, Apple has still not implemented horizontal split-screen with many users suggesting that it may never happen.

Lock orientation permanently
Have the ability to lock the app to always force a certain orientation. iPad OS is much more productive in landscape mode, so locking the goodnotes app would allow the use of goodnotes portrait mode without having to constantly toggle the apple orientation lock whenever I open and close the app.

Lasso Tool Features: Selection Issue + added features: move/resize, align text, thickness:line & text + highlighter & text colour change +
Selection issue: The lasso tool selection is always a problem as it gets de-selected. I think the lasso tools options can pop out when we click inside the selection region and could be de-selected when clicked/tapped outside selection area.
The move/resize: Moving sometimes have to be done by resizing the content. In my opinion, the selected region can have 2 small icons on left and right hand one for move option and one for resize option.
