Ai quizzes
With the new integration of Ai in Goodnotes, I would love to have the choice of Ai making a practice quiz based on my notes/slides presentation pdf you saves in goodnotes. I have two ideas:
- Ai makes practice questions based on your notebook and like the flashcards uses spaced repetition
- Ai can create a practice quiz, like multiple choice and matching

Note Editing Formatting Presets
Can we please get a Note Editing Format Reset window when we have text lassoed.
For example; If we lasso a word(s) and the edit options come up, one of the options can be a list of formatting presets to change the formatting of the “type” of text lassoed.
The presets should include formatting for Heading, Sub Heading, Key Term, °2 Key Term, Definition, Key Point, and Examples.
That way all of our note editing is uniformed and streamlined.
If I select the Editing Format Preset for Key Term, the size, font and color of the word would automatically change to how I programmed Goodnotes to format words the I indicate are Key Terms.
The same with Headings and Subheadings. If I quickly write down a heading the moment I open a new document in Goodnotes, it would be nice to go back when I’m ready to revise my notes and quickly lasso the heading that I wrote down, and select from my Formatting Presets that it’s a heading and it automatically converts to the font, size and color that I use for all of my headings.
Any text that is identified as a key term should be clickable for a Webster’s/AI Generated Definition of the word Pop-Up bubble.

Missing a feature
After the update ,goodnotes 6 is missing a feature to lock the text box. This is very inconveinet now. I like to handwritting over a tex box, but the tex box is keep moving around while i‘m handwriting whithout the feature. Or maybe I can‘t find that after the update. Could you let me know where I can find that feature? This is very essential feature to me.

改進更新後的工具列
工具列以前的比更新後的好,不需要分類點擊,不但會增加遮擋頁面的面積,還只會增加我們在操作上的點擊次數,使操作更麻煩,而且為什麼只能更改大項目的順序、小項目的不行?

Bring Back Continuous Scrolling Option (Disable Page Snap)
Hi GoodNotes Team,
Since the update to GoodNotes 6, vertical scrolling always snaps from one page to the next. This page snap makes it harder to review notes smoothly, especially when studying.
Please bring back the option to disable page snapping and allow continuous scrolling, like in GoodNotes 5. This flexibility would really improve the learning experience.
Thanks a lot!

Typing Template not just typing notebook
The typing notebook beta option is nice however it would be nice if it could be a template you could insert into any notebook like it was previously this the option to write, add text, or read only. Having it being isolated to just a note book makes it difficult to take notes and add written comments or highlights. Also the new note taking is annoying without a keyboard mainly for copy and paste but also to change the font size.

Undo/Redo Gesture improvement
Change the undo gesture from double tap with 2 fingers to just one tap with 2 fingers, much like in procreate. Because it happens too often that i try to undo several times in a row and it gets like 25% of the undo I try to do, so i have to go and use the undo arrow button, which makes the gesture completely useless.
The Redo gesture should be the same but with 3 fingers. This change will make the undo/redo action a lost faster than the actual.1 vote -
Option to clear page while keeping images
It would be very helpful to have a clear page option that removes handwriting and text but keeps inserted images intact. I frequently take pictures of suggested problems or textbook problems, and after some time i want to resolve then and get rid of my old computations and scribbles.

Learning set shared
It would be great to be able to share and collaborate on learning sets as it is possible for other documents. Right now, you need to export the entire file, so the other person will work from another version, and the two will not synchronise

auto highlight whole phrases or sentence lines
There should be an option for pdfs where goodnotes highlighter can auto highlight phrases or sentence lines like a pdf reader.
It already can select words in pdf, might as well add this functionality.

Linking text documents, not only normal notebooks
Version 7.0.18: At the moment, it's only possible to link notebooks. It would be useful to link text documents, too.

MOVE TEXT BOX WITHOUT LASSO
Allow text boxes to move from page to page without lasso tool. Since the text box is already a moveable item it would be nice to be able to move it from page to page without it disappearing. The lasso seems like an unnecessary extra step

Handwriting-to-Text Font Preset Featu
Please add an option to set custom font presets for handwriting-to-text conversion. When I convert handwritten notes, the text always switches to the default font, and I have to reformat everything manually. Being able to choose and save presets (e.g., Noteworthy Bold for headings and Noteworthy Light for body text) would save a lot of time and make notes much cleaner instantly.

Inverse questions and answers in flashcard
There should be a way to reverse the flash card to learn the questions from the answers? Quizlet, a competing app, does this, and I can't find the equivalent on Goodnotes :(

Random smart learning
When using the “Learning resource cards,” there are two modes: “free trial” and “smart learning.” There is a really useful option in the free trial called “random,” which allows you to randomly start from either the question or the answer of a card. I’m wondering why this random setting isn’t available in smart learning yet. It’s really helpful for learning vocabulary in a foreign language and similar things, but we can’t do that in smart learning.
(And yes, we could just use free training, but there’s no shuffle in it, so we have to review the cards in the same order every time…)
