[Audio Recording] Speech-to-text / Dictation
I use goodnotes in uni and have audio recording turned on during notes in my lectures. The thing I have noticed is that while helpful, for many of my classes, when I go to make refined notes it means i have to go back and listen to the whole lecture again (often pausing alot write down and catchup with things the prof said). Remove search bar popup when moving files
A very easy fix I hope - please could the search bar not auto-select when trying to move files? The keyboard coming up is very jarring, blocks half of the location list and it feels more appropriate to not have this as default - personally I have never needed to search for a location and I imagine there aren't many use cases where users have so many folder layers that they require a search every time!

Automatically Remove Deleted GoodNotes Files from Cloud Backup
When using cloud backup (e.g., Google Drive) in GoodNotes, it would be very helpful if deleting files or folders within GoodNotes also synchronized the deletion in the cloud drive.
Currently, even after files are deleted in GoodNotes, residual files remain in Google Drive, requiring users to manually delete them separately. This creates unnecessary inconvenience and extra management work.
Please consider adding two-way deletion synchronization between GoodNotes and cloud backup services.

double click to activate text box
There was a time, in a previous version, where I could double tap a mouse or trackpad and a text box would appear. It would be great if that could return as it makes for a more seamless experience.

New updates are glitchier/less smooth than previous releases!
Writing using pens is glitchy, I see the line or letter I am drawing flicker from visible / invisible, drawing shapes is terrible and can't be rotated! Erasing seems glitchy with shapes too.
Please revert back to old releases until the bugs are worked out on these new algorithms, because the writing process is now, at this point, user UNfriendly.

After the update, the timekeeper is hidden and the time seems too small, so it's uncomfortable. Please return the bookmarks as well

1. Laser points written as lines have become less readable since this update. Please go back to before the update.
2. I wish I could modify the sidebar. In my case, I don't use pencils well and often use nooses, so it would be convenient if I could add nooses to the sidebar. 最近大量使用套索工具，還有複製貼上筆記在不同的檔案
舉例來說我在文件A使用套索工具選取筆記，如果要複製到剪貼簿，必須圈選完點右邊的的更多選單，才能選取複製。不然就是要複製在該頁面，然後剪下，才能在文件B貼上筆記

zoom in and zoom out of text documents using the two-finger pinch gesture.
I would like to request a feature that would greatly improve the reading experience in GoodNotes. Currently, when working with typed or text-based documents, it is not always possible to zoom in and zoom out smoothly using a two-finger pinch gesture like we do with PDFs or images.
It would be very helpful if GoodNotes allowed users to zoom in and zoom out of text documents using the two-finger pinch gesture. This feature would make it easier to read, review, and navigate through typed notes, especially on smaller screens.

Stop AI outlines on pdf
Stop allowing goodnotes to make irreversible AI outlines that I can never toggle off unless I go delete them one by one which is super inconvenient. I get that you guys are trying to develop AI but this is seriously ruining the user experience. Make it either so that it only generates outline when I ask it too, or make it so that I can get rid of it when I import the document.

3 thumbnails on the ipad mini
4 thumbnails in one row makes it very hard to see what page is it. 3 thumbnails should be better to discern what is the page contents.

Select and copy as a screenshot just like notability
I echo this like other users did before. Math can be very messy especially with lots of questions. When you have to screenshot a question, you need to do a full 4 actions sequence to get a pasteable screenshot. If we can have a select copy paste screenshot this would be a killer-feature !

Suggestion for Changing the Hover Cursor to a Pencil Icon
I would like to respectfully suggest that the cursor icon displayed while hovering be changed from the current dotted shape to a pencil icon.
I use Goodnotes while giving online lectures, and I find the current dotted cursor neither aesthetically pleasing nor easy to see. As a result, it can be difficult to clearly track the pen position while writing. I believe that changing the cursor to a pencil-shaped icon would greatly improve both visibility and the overall user experience.

When I try to write with the keyboard, the text doesn’t appear right away — it’s like the touch input isn’t responding properly. This kind of issue feels unacceptable, especially for a note-taking app. Previously, I could simply tap and type immediately, but now I have to tap, type, then click twice on the screen before my previous note ends, and even then, I need to press the keyboard tool or “T” again to start typing a new note. Write in Place
Write in Place makes the page automatically shift to the left while writing, so your hand can stay almost in the same position. It does not matter where on the page you begin writing. As soon as you write a letter or a word, the system measures how far your pen moves to the right. The page does not move during the stroke itself, but every time you lift the pen, it immediately shifts to the left by exactly that amount.
