pen color on split screen
I use split screen a lot, and I find it annoying that when I change the color of the pen and then return to the full screen, the slot has changed color. I want to be able to switch throughout the colors like I do in full screen.

Make auto advancing available for MacBook
Just like the iPad, I want to be able to zoom in better into the notes Dear developers,
As a pen user, I want auto advancing to be an available on Mac so I can write as the paper auto moves to other parts of the page as I write my notes!It isn’t available on MacBook ;(( and it would be a great help for my Homework tysm!!! <33

When an image is cropped or scaled after annotations (e.g., underlines or highlights) have been added, the positions of those annotations become misaligned. For example, underlined text on an image may no longer align correctly after resizing. extending pdf
In Note+ or other apps, they can extend the page by adding some space on the left or right. Personally, our professor talks a lot and I need a lot of space to take notes on. So, if you make a feature of extending more space to the pdf page, I would really appreciate it. I'll upload the file of the Note+ app.

[Tape] Erase Writing on Tape Without Erasing Underlying Content
The new tape feature is great, however I would like to be able to write over it to see if my answers match. I know it is possible to write on tape but it’s impossible to erase it without erasing notes underneath. Please make it so that I can erase text that is only above the tape.

Option to Disable Margins in Horizontal Mode
It would be really helpful to have a toggle in the settings that allows users to turn off the default margins when viewing PDFs in horizontal (landscape) mode.
At the moment, horizontal view automatically adds greyed-out margins on either side of the document, which reduces the amount of space available for writing or annotating. This isn't the case in vertical mode, where the document fills the screen edge-to-edge.
Having the option to disable these margins would:
Maximize the usable screen area
Make PDFs easier to annotate or edit
Provide a cleaner, distraction-free full-screen view

Pen Opacity
Being able to adjust the pen opacity so you get multiple shades of one color without lifting the pen and can see overlap. This really helps make notes look more realistic and aesthetically pleasing. I use max opacity on procreate and it’s perfect.

Rich Text Formatting for Typed Notes
It would be great to have more control over typed text formatting in GoodNotes. Specifically, the ability to change font size, color, and style—just like in word processors such as LibreOffice or Word. This would make typed notes much more flexible and visually organized, especially for studying or professional use.

Resetting smart learn manually and adding favorites
There isnt a way to reset smart learn. It just shows the cards i didnt remember last time i used it. It would be nice to be able to do it. Also a feature wich allows you to mark favorite flash cards and only revise them is essential.

Two-Way Sync via WebDAV
A two-way sync would allow me to synchronize the data over multiple devices.
This means that a backup on Nextcloud can be restored without the need to import each document separately.Additionally, it allows the user to share documents with others and sync any changes made to the document.

MAKE THE RHOMBUS A SHAPE
Make it possible for the app to recognise a rhombus shape and enhance shape recognition in general. Sometimes when I make small circles it detects them as ovals or worse as squares. For my use case this problem is a huuge limitation.

Allow the user to specify a default notebook for quick notes. If not specified, use a system default notebook. Never close an open notebook when starting a new quick note (open the specified default notebook or the system default notebook in a new tab if they are not already open)
