Where is my "copy" option when using the lasso tool?
Oh... that's where the copy tool is! Buried behind the ( . . . ) menu, so now in layer two of the context menu when I have circled content I want to copy and move.
Why?
And I do realize there is a Duplicate option but I don't want to drag my content around behind me, I want to have the copied content ready to be pasted multiple times over without it visibly overlaying other content which Duplicate does.
But maybe I am just super old fashioned and want to copy and paste content all the time and therefore…

Create a workspace alongside the current document
Have you used Liquid Text?
Thay have an amazing feature where it is possible to pull extracts out of documents and display them on a workspace then link the ideas together with drawn lines or links.
Something like this, not the same obviously that worked with extracts, links and tags would be amazing.

Hi, as a language learner, i love the flashcard feature so much! But can you make some features so we can instantly dump our numerous list of vocabulary into one file? Maybe by a simple coding, where we can just copy-paste our list of vocabulary into flashcard. Cause now, it is taking so much time to navigate and make it one by one.

Make the Grid Size of the Paper adjustable
Please make it possible that one square of checkered paper can be adjusted to be 0.5 cm wide. Do the same with the distance between dots on dotter paper and so on…

Proposal to Improve GoodNotes AI Performance
Currently, GoodNotes AI can only be used for basic document search (an advanced version of search) and asking questions within a document. Even when hints or correct answers exist in the document, it often responds with messages like, “The requested content cannot be found in the document. I will answer using general knowledge.”
In addition, I would like the AI to provide answers that directly address my questions, but instead it often gives summarized or reorganized responses, making it difficult to find the exact answer I am looking for.

Request to Move All Pen Tools to Fully Floating Toolbars for a Wider Writing Area
I would like to request that all pen tools be displayed as floating toolbars to provide a wider and more comfortable writing area.
I apologize for mentioning other apps, but these days, most apps—such as Notability, Noteshelf 3, and Scrawl—use floating toolbars, which makes writing feel much more comfortable. In contrast, GoodNotes has pen tools and tabs that occupy fixed space first, with an additional floating pen toolbar displayed below them. This results in a lack of writing space and makes the writing area feel narrow and uncomfortable.
I hope GoodNotes can also move all pen tools to fully floating…

Stickers placement
Return the way you can place stickers from goodnotes5 into goodnotes6. It’s weird that it was possible in goodnotes5 to select the sticker tool and then when I press on the page I can choose which sticker tool place but in goodnotes6 I need to create a sticker and only then I need to move it where I want it to be.

Also add the Laser Pointer both dot and line to have size options as well like the pencil
Add size option for Laser pointer option
Add inner and outer color option instead of just only white and red
Add option for longer stay of the writing with laser line unless page is changed or like pinching the pencil in laser mode to disappear the writing,
Those options will be helpful while making tutorial videos or while teaching Online

Ruler rotation shortcut (e.g, double tapping)
Rulers shortcut that can rotate 90 degrees,
When I'm drawing graphs, I have to manually rotate the rulers from 0 degree to 90 degree.
I think it is better if we have shortcut (something like double tapping the ruler) and it rotate clockwise to 90 degrees (or customizable rotation)

Make the tabs pinnable
I want to make the tabs pinnable, shrinking them into small icons in the corner. It prevents clutter but keeps them handy, since I use them too often to close or scroll for finding them every time.

BRING BACK THE “AUTO STRAIGHTEN TEXT” OPTION
Since the last update you have modified the edit mode and deleted the auto-straighten button! It was probably the most useful button in the entire app and now it’s gone. Instead of trying to develop useless ai features, focuson the basic functionality of the app first! (I’ll putpictures of the old and new edit mode)

Add backspace button in text box
It would be very helpful if there was a dedicated backspace button (similar to the enter button to start a new line) for the text box. When I’m writing and converting to text it would be easier to be able to backspace and delete certain letters or words or remove a line or indent I made by having a backspace button like when typing on a traditional keyboard.

Bring back recent fonts tab
Bring back recent fonts section for text. I have multiple fonts I switch between constantly and use to be able to do it easily before the new update, now only the last custom font I used and a few random fonts I never use show up and the rest I need to scroll to find every time. Please make an option to have a recent or favorites font section easily accessible. Also please put the set as default button in a quicker and easier to locate spot. The steps it takes to find it is ridiculous.

Infinite Board | Add real black colour and the Zoom Box
- You only offer 3 colours, and the colour you call black isn’t black at all—it’s some sort of dark gray-ish. We need real black colour or the usual colour palette one has in the normal note mode [no infinite board]
- Also, why there’s no zoom box in the infinite board mode? Please add it there, too.

Pencil tilt
While using my Apple Pencil and writing with the pencil feature in goodnotes, if I tilt my pencil, the writing gets thicker as if I were tilting a blunt pencil. This is inconvenient as I tend to hold my pencil to the side and the feature makes my notes messy.
I would like an option to disable this feature so that no matter how I hold my pencil, the thickness will stay consistent.
