Redesign Writing Tab + Text-Wrap-Pictures
Currently the writing tool in Goodnotes is a little useless in my opinion there are like 5 styles I can choose from.
Why can’t I change the font?
Why can’t I change the size specifically?
Why can’t I insert pictures that move with text or wrap the Text?
Why can’t YOU use the existing feature of the Textbox for the Writing Tool?
And then just try once to change the color of a text snippet to a custom color…nice menu…but I can’t scroll because my onscreen keyboard is in the way and therefore I can’t select the color wheel (which…2 votes -

Remove the auto centering feature…it’s disgusting
Its very irritating. I loved goodnotes when i could scroll as i wish . Now it’s always auto center . Its very irritating. Please remove it. Or give option so i can choose if i want the feature or not .

Easy fix: Typed Text not aligned with background when creating a template from an existing page
If I create a note using the squared paper, positioning text (in text boxes), export that as a flattened PDF, import it as a template and use it, the typed text area no longer correctly aligns.
It's weird, it's not starting the typed text box in the same place on the template as it is on the squared paper template, and the text seems to have a larger size or more of a gap between lines as it starts to creep line by line down the page (see example below).

Zoom out further than page size
Allow users to zoom out further than the page size to quickly scroll through the content, and write on the edges of pages by centering the edge on the tablet.

No overflow at the end of the page, when using the "type with keyboard" feature
Instead of having the overflow text at the end of the pages, just automatically add a page, just like the Word app would do. Make the pages connected instead of divided.

Option for guides + option for objects to snap or not to guides
It’s extremely crucial for me to be able to make guides for documents (of course being able to have them visible or not anytime I need to). I can’t stand the fact that I can’t align, for example, stickers in a precise row or column.
Using grid paper doesn’t help me at all, I want to have an option so that stickers, text boxes etc snap to guides made by me (I was hoping „ruler” feature will help with that, but alas, it didn’t).2 votes -
flash cards types image occlusion true false and ability to archive decks
the biggest limitation with my flashcards at the moment is having to manually draw a box for image occlusion cards. then colour in the box myself with opaque ink. as there is not an auto fill function for shapes where you can adjust the transparency of the colour, or "tape" option i can use to cover parts of the image. it would be great to be able to build easy image occlusion cards by simply selecting the area i want occluded.
more options on card type like true false, fill in the word ect.

Function to freeze inserted image in place
Hey,
When writing on top of an inserted image whilst having zoomed in on said image, it sometimes occurs that whilst trying to move the visible area instead the whole image is moved/ the positioning of the image on the page is moved.
This happens because the image was accidentally selected and therefore made movable.To counteract this it would be nice to implement a feature that allows the user to "freeze an inserted image in place", meaning it can not be selected (and therefore not moved) anymore until it is "unfrozen".

Different scales for ruler
I am an Architect and often use Good Notes for plans with different scales.
It would be good if you could adjust the scale of the ruler (1:50, 1:20, 1:25, 1:200, 1:500).2 votes -

If you use the rubber to delete stuff, the rubber should snap to the ruler.

Making accessibility from one notebook to another easy (Accessibility & Sorting)
So every time I've to choose a different notebook from a different document I'm being forced to exit my current notebook and go to documents and find my new notebook which makes the accessibility hard.
In such case as we can see below OneNote by Microsoft has made it easier.
As far as I know, this could be the only thing that Goodnotes lacks as of now.2 votes -

Schriftarten bei Tastatur
Wenn zum Schreiben bzw. Tippen in GoodNotes die Textfelder verwendet werden ist es möglich, zwischen verschiedenen Schriftarten zu wählen. Verwendet man hingegen die Funktion Tastatur, ist dies nicht möglich. Es wäre schön, auch hier verschiedene Schriftarten zur Verfügung zu haben.

study set
When going into "Practice" mode I'd like the ability to change the orientation of the cards. I want to be able for it to show me the answer first and then the queston. like how you can if you had "real flash cards" and just studying from the other side.

New features to elevate the study cards option (Markers, Group of questions, color options)
I love using the study sets to learn for my exams, but sometimes, especially in longer answers it would be nice to highlight certain words within the answer. Generally the study set option is lacking some features like markers, different color options for the text, a better way to edit a card while learning and also making groups so certain cards will be more likely to be asked together, instead of "random" when learning in the smart card setting.

upgrade the typing tool
While I enjoy writing with my Apple Pencil, I often use the writing tool and have encountered several frustrating issues:
Text Alignment Issues: Copying text from a website or Word does not align properly in GN, requiring manual adjustments to font and spacing.
Text Formatting Bug: When a page is nearly full, adding more text sometimes causes existing text to distort, merging words unexpectedly.
Limited Formatting Options: It would be helpful to have more features, such as Greek letters, mathematical symbols, and the ability to add square roots.2 votes
