When highlighter overlaps don't darken the overlapped area
Have an option in the highlighter options section to either be darker in the overlapped areas or not to darken the overlapped areas (consistant shade).
You will blow Notability out of the water once your upcoming additions are implemented!
It's already a top 5 app that makes the 12.9" iPad useful. Thanks!

Quick navigation to previous page / Back or Return Button
I have a suggestion that I think would make it even more useful for reading and taking notes. When I read a PDF document, I often come across references or links that take me to other pages within the document. This is especially useful when the text contains a reference number or symbol that I need to look up to fully understand the content.
However, one thing that can be frustrating is when I follow a link to a new page and then want to return to the page I was reading before. In order to do this, I have…

Built-in Calculator / Scientific Calculator
I suggest adding a calculator feature to GoodNotes 6 to enhance its functionality and streamline user workflows. This feature could allow users to perform calculations directly within their notes, making it especially useful for students, professionals, and anyone working with numerical data. For example, a floating calculator tool could be integrated into the app, enabling users to perform quick calculations without leaving the workspace. Alternatively, a feature that allows handwritten equations to be converted into calculated results would align well with GoodNotes’ emphasis on handwriting recognition and natural note-taking. This addition would not only save time but also make GoodNotes…

Expand margins on imported PDFs
I often use GoodNotes to revise documents sent to me or scans for textbooks.
Often I need more space to make notes on the page that I am commenting. It would be great if GoodNotes could grow margins around the imported page giving me plenty of space to write.

Nextcloud Backup & Sync
Please add nextcloud support for backing up notes. The German government is now switching to it and is just a great solution for self hosting clouds. Also many universities (at least in Germany) use it.

Lasso Tool in Zoom Window
The Lasso Tool should be integrated into the Zoom Window. I believe this feature would be useful to many others who are accustomed to using the Zoom Window for normal writing. It's tedious to have to exit the window just to move objects around, change the color, or other common tasks using the lasso. Being able to utilize the lasso without having to exit the Zoom Window every time would just increase ease of use.
Thanks!

Change the template of the whole notebook
Having the option of changing the whole notebook template with a simple click would be very useful for people who uses a lot of pages with grid template to standardize the writing at first, and wanting to change it to other template for a cleaner look.

[Audio Recording] Text-to-speech Reader
I use a different app (speechify) to read off pdfs, etc to me. It works really well and helps me get through readings in in uni I would struggle with other wise. However, I much prefer to highlight my readings, etc as a doc in goodnotes. I think such a feature would be immensely helpful for college students in good notes.

GoodNotes for Windows and Linux
I saw that the Windows app beta has been released, I downloaded it and I saw that it is a webapp "hosted" by microsoft edge. I advise you to consider developing the app using Node.js and Electron.js, a fantastic library for creating webapps with HTML, CSS and Javascript. It can also be compiled for windows and all linux distributions. I hope this advice has been useful for the development of this fantastic app. It would be great having GoodNotes even on Linux!

Add multiple “Save a default text box style”
I used good notes for many different things, college note taking, filling in pdf documents, bullet journal. Please add an option to save more than one default text.
The font i use for note taking sometimes is too small for the font required to fill in documents. And my bujo is dark themed so the font needs to be white. It gets tedious having to change it everytime i open a text box depending on the document i am working on203 votes -
Endless Paper
Sometimes to sketch things out letter or DIN A4 are to short, so it would nice to have endless paper (like OneNote). Which you can scale if you need to print it out. Or have something like 4 DIN A4 papers which fit together with tesa strip.
