Apple Pencil latency needs to be reduced
Easy to replicate - write absolutely anything and you will see a gap between your pencil tip and the ink appearing on-screen. Mine is about half a second behind on the newest iPad Pro M4 13-inch with a Pencil Pro. This should really be optimized.

Writing text on drawn boxes
In the recent update, everything fell apart. I strongly recommend a HCI team that conducts research on UI properties before making radical changes to the whole experience. Some strong changes can deter existing users!
Also, just like the android phones and the iPhone, please make the experience almost identical in some areas, as it encourages migration according to users needs without hesitation. For me, the only strength for Goodnotes is its backup and sync feature. So make sure the differentiation on that front is robust, while slowly improving other features. How does this help? Text box tool bar is a terrible idea
The latest update has the text box tools floating on the page when I type. This is a nuisance and is extremely distracting. It makes it impossible to think and write. The previous toolbar system worked just fine. Either revert back to the earlier method or allow the floating toolbar to disappear while typing.
Please fix this pronto! Sometimes change for the change’s sake is just a bad idea. This is one of those times.

Same range of colours to be used for drawing shapes as drawing with the pen/pencil like it used to be
The same way it was before the most recent update, as it’s easier when needing to draw straight line shapes with the same colours used for writing/drawing as it’s far more convenient than copying and pasting the colour code

Fixing the pen and highlighter straight line/zoom window.
I am a great fan of this app, however since the new update (version 7.0.4), I've noticed that the pen and highlighter snap to straight lines/shapes feature has been substantially less accurate/sensitive which makes drawing graphs and models incredibly difficult as it will merge many of my 'corners' into a single line. I draw tables with the highlighter tool but dislike how separate strokes will be darker where overlapped, so being able to draw a graph in a single stroke requires the sensitivity and accuracy from before the update. Fix shape editor. Return old UI!!
Put the old snare editor back. The new one is unintuitive and unhelpful. Instead of being able to edit a shape I get nonsensical points to move around.

Fix the typing features ASAP
The typing feature really needs some attention guys. Tell me why when I try to type a page of notes the whole thing glitches out and either won't save my stuff or doubles all the words I've written on top of each other. You also can't continue typing onto a new page like it suggests. This new update also lowkey made the feature worse because now you can't just click on a page to type and you also have to click back to the textbox icon every time you want to drop a box. The floating record numbers are extremely distracting and take up valuable space. Please revert it back to how it looked in Goodnotes 6 - a small unobtrusive icon on the toolbar.

Smarter Lasso Tool
When using the lasso tool to select a drawing or handwriting area, it would be great to not only change the color but also adjust the line thickness for all selected elements simultaneously. Additionally, adding an option to either preserve the original stroke thickness or scale it proportionally when resizing would offer much more control and flexibility.

Issue with different types of documents
What was the point of dividing typing and writing. There are so many more apps that are better for writing or typing separately. What I liked about Goodnotes is that it didn’t have the hassle of typing a paragraph, printing it or using a different app to make notes on it. For now I will use Word and Notability. I hope there is a way to fix this otherwise I just wasted my money on goodnoted for nothing.

Mann kann ja bereits eine mathematische Formel auswählen, in eine Formel umwandeln und danach bearbeiten. Dies ist allerdings sehr kompliziert, da man Funktionen we /fraq oder /phi nicht aus dem Kopf weiß. Man könnte eine Fromelfunktion einfügen, bei der man wie bei einem Taschenrechner verschiedene Funktionen wie einen Bruchstrich oder Wurzel oder hoch und tief schreiben für quadrat ^2, kubik^3 und so weiter sowie eine Suchleiste für Funktionen.

Apple Pencil or 3rd-Party Pencil
I am partially posting this to see if others are have this issue or if it is just me. I have two 3rd-party "Apple Pencil", one of which I only used once to verify it worked and maintain as a backup in case something happens with the other. The primary one I have used for over a year now with no issues. Custom fonts are harder to get to
With the new update, it takes so many extra steps to change the fonts to custom, downloaded ones. There’s the modern, classic, and technical options so it would be nice to customize that so there’s a top 3 fonts, but it sucks to have my fonts be more inaccessible!!

Image and elements select without lasso tool
With the new update, you can’t click on the image or elements tool to edit just those items. The buttons are just for adding new images into the page and that forces you to use the lasso tool to edit them. This is horrible for someone like me who uses a background image as a template and kept the image lasso off to not accidentally mess up my whole page. Please change it back! Or FINALLY give us a lock layer option so that we don’t have to select everything to get one image!!

Vertices/ points for shapes
Previously I could easily edit the points/vertices of the shape….. with the new update, it is much inconvenient to edit the points. Please bring it back… it is easily to teach triangle area if I could easily shift the vertex

Unexpected lasso selection behavior
Recently, the lasso tool seems to have changed — if I select just a small part of a circle’s edge, it also selects anything crossing or inside the circle, even though I didn’t include them. It didn’t work like this before.

Shape tool color/thickness should match pen color/thickness automatically
My app just updated, making the toolbar different. Now if I want to use the shape tool to make straight lines or something, I have to manually change every setting from size to color to match my pen tool every single time I change colors/sizes. This makes it very frustrating when I do color coded notes every single day that need me to switch between colors, line thickness, and free drawing vs straight lines constantly (as is visible in my attached screenshots).
