  1. Text Box Line Change

    Please disable this automatic line changing or increase the limit of words for line change. It doubles the work as again we have to stretch the box to make while text appear in single line.

    i can see people use the tools in different sequences - I need the eraser to auto-deselect off pen menu when i
    ERASE then
    LASSO something, then go back to
    PEN to keep drawing or writing.
    right now it won’t deselect when i use a tool NOT in the pen menu

  3. [Oct 2025 Update] - Geometric figures

    Add the possibility of remove the object area that anchorages writing, forms to a form.
    This new feature doesn't allow drawing over some figures and makes the drawing experience terrible on goodnotes.
    Let the user choose in he needs the area or not.

    It would also be nice to be able to draw geometric shapes that are more similar to those drawn by hand.
    For example, quarters and semicircles, which are currently transformed into parabolas.

  4. Hold and Fill Color, Deletion of the outlines

    When you draw something and hold, there'll be a faded color of your pen inside the shape. The latest update make me couldn't delete the outline of the shape and that makes taking notes way worseee. I love those more than highlighting. PLEASE BRING IT BACKKKK I BEG.

  6. links - improve usability

    Goodnotes has implemented links to websites as well as internal pages for some time now. However, they are still incredibly cumbersome to use, especially for handwriters. I propose the following improvements:

    1) Internal links
    In most cases the page one wants to link to is already open in another tab or window side by side. But to create a link there we still have to navigate to this page again within the link creation dialogue.
    It would be faster and more intuitive to have an additional entry in the document menu and page browser to simply copy a link to…

  7. Scribble to delete

    Scribble to delete is a nice feature. Unfortunately if turned on, it accidentally deletes drawings. Would it be possible to delete by scribble only at FAST pencil movements?

  8. Rundungen in Ecken deaktivieren

    Seit dem letzten Windows Update werden bei der automatischen Linienführung Rundungen in den Ecken erstellt. Dies sollte deaktiviert werden können. Ich nutze Goodnotes im Unterricht um Elektroschemas und Elektrosymbole zu zeichnen. Goodnotes ist das einzige mir bekannte Programm, welches diese Funktion so gut beherrscht. Daher empfehle ich es jedem Lernenden und jeder Lehrperson weiter. Bitte mit dem nächsten Update die automatische Linienführung mit Ecken wieder möglich machen.

    Seit dem letzten Windows Update ist die Grösse für geometrische Formen begrenzt. Kreise, Vierecke, Dreiecke können nicht so klein gemacht werden wie früher.

    I would like the option to share a view-only link to my notebook. As a teacher, I want to share class notes with students without giving them editing access. Currently, I have to send daily PDFs, which is inconvenient. Instead, I’d prefer to share one live link that always shows the most up-to-date version.

    Ante todo, me gustaría agradeceros vuestro trabajo, ya que me resulta de gran ayuda en mi rutina diaria de estudio.
    Más que un problema, se trata de una mejora, pero con la tarea intensiva de anotar y organizar la documentación, casi llega a convertirse en un inconveniente. Si bien es cierto que existe acceso directo a los diagramas, lo cual es útil, hay situaciones en las que se requiere un enlace a un punto específico del documento.   12. Goodnotes won’t allow you to type in a hex code to change the TEXT color on any of their new opaque auto-shapes.

    The latest Goodnotes doesn’t let you type in a hex code to change the TEXT color on a SHAPE. This happens on the Custom tab of the Color Change pop-up window when you select the text on a shape and then click the color dot on the pop-up menu to change the TEXT color. Goodnotes doesn’t let you insert your cursor into the Hex Code box. There are just a bunch of zeroes in the Hex Code box that you can’t overwrite.
    The shapes themselves can be updated using a typed-in hex code, but not their built-in text. This problem…

  13. Présentation barre d'outil sélection de texte

    Depuis la dernière mise à jour, les symboles des outils pour écrire des zones de texte ont changé (je les mets en photo). Sauf que quand je veux souligner quelque chose, j'ai le réflexe de cliquer sur les Aa soulignés au lieu de cliquer sur le Bi.
    Je pense que l'outil qui permet de changer de police ne devrait pas être souligné car notre œil est attiré vers ça au lieu de cliquer sur le bon outil ! C'est l'outil Bi qui devrait être souligné !

  16. no constant zooming

    The zoom affects the handwriting a lot.
    In my opinion, the Zoom window bears no resemblance to writing on real paper.
    Therefore, I would be grateful for the addition of a constant zoom function.

  17. sticky notes - opening direction/page limits

    Thank you for reworking the sticky notes <3 . They are almost perfect now.
    One thing is still impractical though.
    All sticky notes open to the lower right - regardless of their position on the page. It would be great if they intelligently recognized the page borders and opened in such a way as to stay completely visible.
    Reason: Many textbooks and almost all scientific papers have a 2 column layout with only a narrow gap between. Is is only natural to place notes for the right column in the right margin. See image.

  18. Ridiculous “new” text box function

    Please for the love of God, bring back the old version of using the “keyboard” icon to simply type onto the notebook. This useless text box option does NOT work and the text doesn’t even sit on the notebook lines anymore. It is completely pointless. I can’t type anymore and I can no longer edit offline either! I pay every year to use your product and I’m happy to do so because I use it to teach. Honestly, if the text box doesn’t go, I will find a better alternative because I cannot work like this.

  20. Fix issues

    You keep changing things and some of the changes are cool, other terrible
    First you changed it so that you can no longer resize and rotate stickers simultaneously. Now you can’t rotate snapped to shape from freehand shapes which is really annoying and basically means I can’t use the feature. Also the floating pen options obscure my page.
