Please streamline the links
I‘m a working with a teacher planer that has a lot of links in the PDF (Think each class list links to each individual student, to each subject and various sub-sections like lesson plans, grades ets.)
The newest version also includes external links in the calendar section that open the Apple calendar via shortcuts.
While I absolutely love GoodNotes and use it in my actual lessons and also have students do their coursework digitally via GoodNotes, it‘s really frustrating having to either switch between the writing and editing modes each time I‘m using the planer or having to zoom and aim for the correct spot on the link in writing mode because of course the links are labeled and I keep highlighting the writing istead of selecting the link.
The implementation of external links in the calendar is an absolute game changer and could make my workflow so much easier. The problem is that any time I want to use the feature I not only have to switch modes, there‘s also a frankly quite annoying popup warning me that I clicked on an external link.
My suggestion would be enabling tapping on links with your finger in writing mode, especially if a digital pen/the Apple pencil is enabled. In addition, please include the option to not show the external link popup again or to disable it in setting. If there are safety concerns, maybe there could be an option to highlight external links within the document to make them easily identifiable.
Thanks a lot!
