Add More Granular Range Options to Pen Sliders (Tip Sharpness ~ Pen Flatness)
Currently, the pen settings provide only fixed percentage options for sliders such as:
Pen Tip Sharpness (0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%)
Pressure Sensitivity (0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%)
Pen Flatness (0%, 33%, 66%, 100%)
For example, pen tip sharpness can only be selected from preset values like 0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100. However, I would like to set more precise values such as 65% or 80%.
This limitation is especially noticeable with pen flatness, where the selectable range jumps directly from 66% to 100%. I wishโฆ

making new line with dotpoints
when Iโm writing to convert to text, when tapping to make a new line when using dotpoints it converts to modern size 24 rather than remaining in the same font as i was previously using. this same issue does NOT occur when not using dotpoints. If this issue could be fixed i would love it

Drag and Drop from PDFs to notebook while removing background
While in split screen, it would be very useful if we were able to drag and drop images between windows as a PNG. For example, if Iโm reading a neuroscience PDF textbook, i want to be able to click and hold a diagram, drag it to my notebook page, and drop it without the white background. Currently, you can only copy-paste screenshots. We should be able to remove the background. other apps can do this and I would rather it be in goodnotes.

Universal Object Menu / Quick Selection
Please make both of them optional.
I mainly use the lasso tool to move objects around and the "Universal Object Menu" that constantly pops up at random positions is so distracting. I keep hitting things I do not intend to while moving around objects.
Same goes for the Quick Selection. I regularly import screenshots or pictures with the intend of writing notes on them. I do not want them to be selected every time I accidentally tap on them while moving the view of my document. I was able to deactivate this feature before, why is this not possible anymore?

Small sticker option
When using stickers, I would like to make them small as they are then the right size if using them regularly, but the quality reduces so significantly this isnโt possible, and I have to resize them every time, which is time consuming, and the inconsistency in sizing is annoying. If there was a way to increase the quality it would be great.

Image lock failure
You completed the image lock. Yay!
Unfortunately once an image is locked, I cannot use the links programmed into the base document that are behind the image. Added links can be layered on top but the base document cannot be altered.1 vote -
page browsing by simple tapping instead of swiping
Swiping takes more time and effort for browsing through a document as compared to, e.g., tapping.
In many documents, I see an empty space to the left and right of the page. Couldnโt this be used to allow tapping to effect immediate page browsing?

Goodnotes Page Separation
I love Goodnotes so much as a full time graduate student in chemistry. I can draw molecular structures, fill out pdf assignments with handwritten answers, and edit my work super easily.
I spend a lot of time uploading PDFs for homework assignments which allows me to write directly on them and export the pages into my grading platform. An idea that I have had (mostly for aesthetic purposes) is regarding the outline performance in a notebook; I add important pages to my outline, but its not necessarily a helpful tool until my notebook is over 50 pages or so. Study Sets : Scratch sheet
When using a study set, you should be able to close and reopen scratch paper without saving it. For instance, if I want to use the same blank temporary paper for a different question, it will remain blank every time I reopen it, even if I save the file.

[New languages] Slovenian
Hello
We are using good notes in our company on IPAD machines. We only miss very important toll and this is ocr - handwriting recognition in language Slowenian (Contry in Europe - Slovenia). We miss this very much becouse we now implementig paperless work and if we dont have this language supported we have to switch to other program. We dont want this becouse goodnotes is great.
We dont need that the language of the program is in slovenian we need just the recognition language in slovenian.1 vote -
Diary function
Please refer to diary apps such as Day One.
ใปSince I use it for diary purposes, I would be happy if a notebook function specialized for diaries was added in the future. If a function like a map database is added, it would be great if there is a mechanism that can record location information.
ใปI want a function like an album by tagging notes and images.
ใปIf there is a calendar function that can be checked back on a date basis, I think it will be very attractive as a diary.

study sets
Why can't I slide pages while using study sets? When I'm in reading or editing mode (rather than in learning or practicing mode), it's unable to swipe left to add new pages and to swipe right to check the previous one. That's never happened before and it's really frustrating. Hope to be solved asap.

Bring back the Edit Handwriting Mode
Please bring back the edit handwriting mode that allows me to reflow handwriting! It was extremely useful and convenient to have.

Stage Manager bug: minimized window sticks to screen edge
On iPad, when using Stage Manager (Show Mode), minimizing an app window does not behave as expected. Instead of collapsing or disappearing, the minimized window remains visible as a shrunken panel stuck at the edge of the screen. This creates visual clutter and interferes with multitasking, since the window continues to occupy space even though the user intended to minimize it.

Sharing notes with other users without backing up the whole library
Share a note to other users without having to backup everything on the app. I think we already paid a lot of money to this app. We should be able to share notes without icloud like Google sheets, docs or Canva. And we can share on those apps for free. Goodnotes should have their own cloud at least for the note sharing option!

[Import] Preselection of import option
The last update brought up the new window which comes up when importing a new pdf document or picture. In that windows you can select if you want to open the document in a new file or put it into an existing notebook. It would be great if you can add a setting possibility to preselect one of these options. I'm never using the possibility to import as a new document but with the new update I'm forced to make a few more clicks now which is annoying.

Feature Request: Add File Replace Option When Importing Files with the Same Name
When importing a file with the same name, GoodNotes currently brings it in as a new document and renames it as โfilename 2.โ
However, sometimes instead of importing it as a new document, it would be better to overwrite/replace the existing file.When the file being imported has the same name as an existing file, it would be great if a prompt appeared asking whether the user wants to:
Overwrite the existing file,
Import as a new file, or
Cancel the import.
Adding this overwrite option wouldโฆ

Color switch
Hi can we bring back the double tap to switch highlighter color? Itโs not working on neither of my iPads and I have tried in both with different pencils (pro and 2nd gen). Has it been removed? Or is it a bug?

Swipeable Menus
To making changing between the different menus (i. e. between pen settings, eraser settings) easier and less of a reach, being able to swipe between tool menus to choose different settings would be convenient. For instance, assuming the menu is on the left of the screen and weโre currently on the eraser menu, swiping left from the menu to the edge of the screen (1A) would go to the pen menu(1B). Alternatively swiping right from the edge of the screen to the menu from the eraser settings (2A) would go to text menu (2B). Iโve attached screenshots with arrows forโฆ
